and that night
as i watched the stars
fall from the sky
and the light in your eyes
that held the fire
and wires
that shot out
electricity
from your veins
popping from your
red faced forehead
i sat
in slow motion
as my whole family
fell apart
and i cried so hard
not because
i was sad
but because
i knew
there was nothing left
that could
rewire you
until you
were sober forever
