While sitting there I got several texts 14 of them to be exact each with a different message
I responded to each one and then I texted Sean again and asked him if he could come up I wanted him to see if he got the same feel I got about a patient
He texts back saying he couldn't but Dr Roberts was here he would send him up soon

I went back in the room with the IV Solution of pain medication hooked it up and got Abigail comfortable she didn't take her eyes off Adam as I worked on her and his eyes I could feel on me watching my every move
Usually I like to stay in the room and talk with family to get an understanding about what they want for a delivery but with Adam I couldn't stand to be in the room.
I was about to leave the room when Adam stopped me

After finishing up with Tracy we left the room

As the day went on Abigail progressed along it was almost 4 when she had gotten her epidural it would be another two hours before she was ready to give birth
I was coming in to check in on her when I overheard him tell her this child better be a boy the family wants a boy if not you and the baby will die

Listen up I have a serious situation going on here at the hospital one of my patients Abigail Forest her husband is a abusing her and when I walked in to the room I over heard him tell her that this baby better be a boy that the family wants a boy and if it's not he will kill her and the baby so I need to get her and that baby out of here so let's get a plan together in the next hour and half because she is going to give birth soon either way she needs to be removed from this either I do this on my own or with help so let's get moving on this
And Lilly I know you have your way with us girls so be prepared she is worse than me she is in room 525

The scared look on her face almost had me in tears
