Dear Jahseh (xxxtentacion)

Kind of a rant for a lil bit:

I'm a few days late on making this.

But for the past few days, I had to let the realization sink in.

A legend, another one of the rare good people on earth, was shot and killed.

There was a lot that went through my mind in that 43 second phone call with my dad, the day of your death, when he told me you had passed.

I don't have social media of any kind so I'm always late on trending things. Two hours after your death, I was finally told.

I was never a religious person. I'm still not, but I do think some great power in our universe took you from us at this point in time as a wake up call. And it's unfortunate that he/she had to sacrifice a human life for us to see it, For this generation of kids To see that the streets, they type of shit they listen to in their music, isn't just a round of call of duty, gta, or Fortnite. When you die, you can't just get up and start again.

This is real. Some people are ruthless enough to send a bullet your way without thinking twice about who you are, or how your family and friends would feel.

Dear Jahseh (XXXTENTACION),

I hope you're in peace, somewhere away from this horrible, unfair and unjust world.
I want to thank you for spreading positivity, making me laugh, and even releasing music.
Your music helped me through abusive relationships, heartbreaks, slumps, and randomly anxious moments throughout my day.
Being able to put my headphones in and listen to your albums in times of stress is probably one of the best gifts you brought to this world.

I know you were trying to do good the last few months of your life. It really inspired me.
Seeing you begin the helping hand challenge and donate brand new things for the foster kids just blew me away.
It made me realize that we, as your audience, have to continue to spread that positivity. We have to stop all the hatred and violence to stop other innocent, talented people from having their lives taken, and also to make the world a better place to live in.
For all we know, this is the only life we got. This is the only chance we have to leave our imprint in the world, so we might as well make it a positive one.

One more thing. Does any one else get comfort in just hearing his voice in his music and seeing pictures of him ?
