*Recap*
We walk into Liv's room and I sit in the chair next to her bed, the nurse starts talking to the doctor. I grab Liv's hand and hold it, a few minutes pass.
Doctor: Are you able to get ahold of her mom so we can discharge her to go home with you?
Hunter: Yeah.

I grab my phone and call Liv's Mom and put it on speaker.
Liv's Mom: Hi Hunter.
Hunter: Hi. Liv just got out of surgery but the hospital can't discharge her to go home with me unless you approve that it's okay.
*End Of Recap*

Liv's Mom: Okay. Where's the doctor?
Hunter: He's in the room with me.
Liv's Mom: Am I on speaker?
Hunter: Yeah.
Liv's Mom: Okay. Can you hand the phone to him so I can hear him better?
Hunter: Yeah.

I hand my phone to the doctor.
Doctor: Hi Mrs. Melloul, this is Dr. Terry. Liv just got out of surgery and she is still under the anesthesia but we can't discharge her with her boyfriend until we have your approval.
Liv's Mom: He has my approval. I'm not in town at the moment so he's going to take her home.
Doctor: Okay that's all we needed. Have a good day.
Liv's Mom: You too.

The doctor hands me my phone back to me.
Liv's Mom: Have Liv call me tonight or in the morning.
Hunter: Okay. Bye.
Liv's Mom: Bye.

I hang up and put my phone in my pocket.
Doctor: Here is a sheet of paper of the medicine that will help her for the pain so when you guys leave just go to the pharmacy and hand them this paper and they will give you some medicine for her. She needs to take the medication every 5 to 6 hours and she needs to take the pain medication whenever she has pain and make sure to tell her mom that she needs to come back in 3 weeks to see how she is and just for a check up.
Hunter: Okay. How long will it take her to recover from the surgery?
Doctor: Only about 3 or 4 weeks.
Hunter: Okay. Is there a certain position she can't sleep because of her stitches on her stomach?
Doctor: She can sleep on her sides or her back but she can't sleep on her stomach until we get the stitches removed because it will be tender.
Hunter: Okay.
Doctor: I am going to check on more patients so when she wakes up just press that yellow button right there and I'll come in and check on her.
Hunter: Okay.

The doctor and the nurse leave the room, I turn and look at Liv. I kiss her cheek again and start rubbing my thumb on the top of her hand, an hour goes by and Liv wakes up. She turns and looks at me.
L: Hunter?
Hunter: Yeah. How are you feeling?
L: Okay. Where's my mom?
Hunter: You're staying with me for a few days. She went out of town for her work and she doesn't trust your dad or Aaron and what they will say to you. Remember?
L: Kinda.

I press the yellow button.
L: What's that for?
Hunter: When I press that button the doctor will come in to check on you.
L: Oh. Can we get milkshakes after this?
Hunter: You want a milkshake? *laughs*
L: Yeah. I haven't had 1 in foreverrrrr.
Hunter: Are you sure you feel fine? *laughs*
L: Kind of. I feel loopy. Like Froot Loops.

I laugh.
L: Why are you laughing?
Hunter: Because you're just funny.
L: Oh. Can we get milkshakes-

The doctor walks in.
Doctor: Hi Liv, I'm Dr. Terry. I'm the doctor that did your surgery. How are you feeling?
L: I'm feeling okay. Hunter asked me the same thing. That's weird that you both asked me.

I laugh again.
Doctor: I'll be right back. Im going to get you some water and should make you feel less loopy.

The doctor leaves the room and comes back a few minutes later, he hands Liv some water. A few minutes pass by and Liv becomes less loopy.
Doctor: Make sure to just to take it easy and rest for a few days.
L: Okay.
Doctor: Any questions?
L: Hunter can you ask him?
Hunter: *Laughs* Sure. She wants to know if she can have milkshakes?
Doctor: Yes she can have milkshakes.
Hunter: Okay.

The doctor starts taking the I.V's out of her arm and takes a stethoscope and starts doing a check up. Once he finishes we are able to go. The nurse brings a wheelchair into the room, she brings it over to the bed and helps Liv get into it. I stand up and wheel Liv out of the room, we get in the elevator. When we get down to the first floor we walk out of the lobby and head to my truck, when we get to my truck I open the passenger door and help Liv get in. I buckle her in.
L: Hunter.
Hunter: What? Is something wrong?
L: I'm cold.
Hunter: Okay. Hold on let me get you a blanket.

I walk to the back door of my truck and open it, I grab a blanket I always keep in my truck. I shut the door and walk back to Liv, I put the blanket on top of her.
Hunter: Is that better?
L: Yeah. Thank you.

She smiles at me and I smile back at her, I shut the door and bring the wheelchair back inside. I walk back to my truck and get in the drivers seat.
Hunter: Did you still want a milkshake?

Liv nods her head, I start driving to McDonalds. After I get the milkshakes I start driving to the pharmacy, I park truck and unbuckle my seat belt.
Hunter: I'll be right back. Okay?
L: Okay.

I open my door and get out, I walk into the pharmacy.
