Once upon a time, there lived a dog with his master. The master had little else in his life other than his dog, and the dog had little else besides his master.
For a long time, the dog felt he had been mistreated by his master. As his resentment grew, it mattered little whether he had been genuinely mistreated or not. He felt he had been and for the dog, that was as good as fact. So, the dog felt justified if he were to one day leap out and attack his master.
And that is precisely what he did. The dog jumped at his master, snarling and growling, his teeth biting into his master's calf. His master stumbled back and fell, the dog believing he had given his master infinite chances to redeem himself and he had failed to do so.
The master died slowly in a pool of blood and at last, the dog whimpered and sat down by his master.
A number of days later, weak from lack of food and water, the dog exhaled for the final time. His last thought was on the perceived tyranny of his master. What is one to do if the tyrant is all there is? And that, dear reader, is left to your imagination...
