Ok so Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was AMAZING. For anyone wondering where, I saw SB4SB at Music Circus in California last night (June 26, 2018)! It's a theater in the round, which is extra cool!

The choreography was ASTOUNDING and the applause for the biggest dance number (Barn Dance) lasted almost a minute and got a standing ovation from some! During that number, it was basically a dance-off between the brothers and the townsmen and there was a mini tumbling competition, and I couldn't help but be super excited for numbers like Seize the Day when I see Newsies there in a few weeks! (Also with Josh Burrage, Joey Barreiro, and Laurie Veldheer!!)
Once, Adam (the main character) got so excited that he jumped/slammed his body on the (wooden) bed and it broke 😂 Idk if it was supposed to happen, but I hope it was because it was hilarious 🤣 The actress's face was pure glee when the bed broke!
For shifts, most of the set comes down from the ceiling (as usual), but since the theater is in the round, pieces such as tables, chairs, beds, etc., must be brought out by the shift crew (okay that's normal too, but stay with me on this). It's kinda funny to see around six people rush out from doors behind the audience onto the stage and back to the doors. I've done shift in school productions and can relate, but on a regular stage 😂
The brothers came onstage wrapped in blankets up to their chest because Milly decided to do their laundry and a section of the audience whistled and although the reaction was kinda funny, it was kinda uncomfortable 😣 so yeah about that

SB4SB was so hilarious! It's a great comedy!
For one of Josh's first lines, his mic wasn't turned on and I was a little salty, although I was close enough to hear his line. Also during curtain call, when he bowed you could see the mic tape had become loose in his forehead (probably from sweat), leaving the mic bud to swing around when he took his bow. I just found that funny, idk why. It just speaks of all the sweat the actors had from the athletic choreography!
Speaking of mics, ever since I dressed mics for one of my school's shows, it has become my personal mission to figure out where the mic packs are hidden on the actors's bodies when I see shows. Anyone else, or is it just me? 😂
The actor who played the youngest brother just seemed so much like a Crutchie and I was hoping he'd be Crutchie in Newsies but it's going to be played by someone else 😭 (Who I'm sure will be amazing of course)!
At curtain call, one of the brothers did a pirouette and sweat whipped off of his hair like a sprinkler 😂😂😂 Also when Josh took his bow of course I cheered and clapped a little louder.
I met dreamofbroadway and she is so sweet! Literally a star! 🌟 I loved getting to meet you, Katie!
At stage door there where four of us waiting (for Josh of course)! Hopefully it's not too crazy when I see Newsies!
OK SO I MET JOSH AT STAGEDOOR and he is so nice and sweet and he signed my playbill and let me get a selfie. My grandparents like to chat and even though there were several other girls waiting to meet him and he had opening night stuff to get to, he took the time to answer the questions my grandparents asked and chatted a bit and was so sweet. Even my grandparents loved him! My grandpa said as we were walking away that he'd love to take that "nice young man out to dinner" and get to know him and ask questions. Oh, Nono! 😂❤️

I JUST WANT IT TO BE KNOWN THAT JOSH GIVES NICE SIDEHUGS. AND THAT I HAD SOMETHING IN MY TEETH THAT I ONLY FOUND LATER WHEN I LOOKED BACK AT THE SELFIE.
In conclusion, the show was amazing, one of the best to come out of Music Circus yet! Congrats to the whole company of SB4SB! Thanks, Josh, for being so lovely at stagedoor! Happy opening! 💕
EDIT: I'm not going to post the selfie here but I did on Instagram and someone told me he was wearing the same outfit that night as he did in "Unemployed" (link below) which she was totally right and I did think his outfit looked familiar. SO, not only did I meet the one and only Joshua Burrage, but I also met arguably his most ICONIC outfit to date! 😂
