Now the sun is wrapping its hands around us
As we drown in sweat
Cleaning it off with more water
We never stop drowning
Yet we don't die
We float
We fight through
The currents
We float
While the rest drown
Looking for a crown
In a crowded ocean
We learned however,
We don't need a crown
We can frown
As they drown,
Drown in self pity.
While we Drown Up Here
With the sun and its rays.
