my mom nearly dropped
her mug.
my dad just looked up from
his newspaper, shocked.

as tears were threatening to fall.
i was so scared, yoongi.

but you gave me comfort.
just by being there.

i told them i loved you.
my mom started crying.
my dad got up and
gave me a hug.

after a long talk,
they were accepting.

i felt better.
i felt even better because
you were there.
