(Narrator's pov)
"Worthless brat, all you've done is take, take, take, take! Get out you devil!", my parents snarled.
Once again I was thrown out of the house, I sat on the front porch trying to hold in my tears. Lately all I've felt like is a burden, everyone I stay by seems to be burdened by me. The tears fell from my (e/c) eyes as my (h/c) tail and ears appeared and drooped around my body in sorrow. I wasn't aware of someone watching me, the person sighed as they walked up to me and petted my ears.
"Hey....", he called.
I looked up seeing a blurry image of the light blue haired male as I continued to sniffle and wipe away my tears.
"H-hey....hey Tomura.", I choked as he wiped away my tears with his sweater sleeve.
Tomura was a villain but despite that I trusted him with my life, he's always been there for me especially when I felt alone. He was mad, he always got mad when my parents did this to me. Tomura grabbed my wrist and pulled me along making me follow him, I smiled realizing his little pinky stayed out so he wouldn't activate his quirk. We were probably going to our spot again, an abandoned building where no one could bother us.
"You know I can kill your parents and we could run away.", Tomura smiled evily.
"No...you might be evil bit if you step to their level I'll end up hating you.", I frowned as I looked out over the glowing city.
My bluish haired friend fumed throwing another temper tantrum and ranting about how I should just let him murder them or something. The breeze felt good as it passed through my ears and hair, I felt the strange urge to feel more of it. I stood on the edge of the rooftop and allowed the wind to push against my body. This feeling made a song from the anime I watched come to mind, and I guess out of sadness I started to sing it.
"Good night Canary~ Good night Canary. Goodbye Canary, wave at me smile for me now.", I hummed as tears started shedding from my eyes again.
"(Y/n)....what are you-"
"Starlight in the sky, singing through you lullaby, cherish your dreams, shall we come to tomorrow~", I sang walking blindly along the edge of the crumbling building.
Was it because I was sad that I wanted to fall? Or was it because of this song?
"(Y/n)....hey idiot be careful!", Tomura growled reaching out for me.
"Good night Canary~", I sighed not noticing as I leaned forward off the building, "You're my sweet dream, darling~"
"(Y/n) no!", Tomura yelled just missing me as I plummeted off the building.
Honestly if it wasn't for my instincts I probably would've died, I grabbed onto a railing protruding from the building and like a basic gymnast would spun myself back up to the roof. My pupils returned to normal as I took in my surroundings but Tomura scared me with a sudden embrace.
"What the hell do you think you're doing stupid!", He growled holding me by my head, his thumbs not touching me at all.
That's when I realized what I had just tried to do, I-I'm such a weakling.
"T-Tomura....I-I...I just want to disappear! Nobody needs me so I-I should just go away!", I cried pressing my forehead against his.
Tomura couldn't believe me, to him, I was always happy, childish, and optimistic and seeing me like this broke him. He lifted up my head and stared into my eyes before doing something really unexpected, the young villain kissed me straight on the lips. I gasped into the kiss before slowly returning it, I knew he wanted to hold me but could so I wrapped my arms around him and held him close as we kissed. When did he get these feelings for me? How did it all end up like this? If I could disappear with Tomura I'm sure I'd be happy.
He pulled away from the kiss, a small string of saliva connecting our tongues briefly before seperating us.
"(Y/n)...I fucking hate everything and everyone on this planet, but you...you are the only person I can tolerate. If you're going to die it's gonna be with me by your side holding you close. If you want to disappear then come with me.", he admitted bluntly.
I couldn't find the words to reply to him but he chuckled seeing my tail wave behind me happily. I couldn't help how happy and warm I felt, a villian fell in love with someone like me. I pounced on him hugging him close as I kissed every inch of his face, from his eye bags to his scars, I kissed him over and over again happy to have someone actually love and need me.
"I love you Tomura.", I purred snuggling my head into his shoulder.
His face was beet red from his embarrassment but he didn't really mind. He got up and let me piggy bank on his shoulders as we hopped from rooftop to rooftop until we arrived at my home. He settled me on the rooftop as he decayed a large piece of brick in his hand.
"Wait here Kitten I'll be right back.", He grinned before disappearing into my home.
My face heated up from embarrassment at the nickname he had given me but that was knocked out of my mind by the blood curtling scream of my mother. I winced hearing gunshots and started to worry but soon enough Tomura was back.
"Let's go my kitten, we can't have the police finding you alive after I worked so hard to fake your death.", he chuckled rubbing his nose against mine.
I smiled at my newfound freedom as we disappeared into the night, it's funny a villain was my hero tonight. It's not your typical love story but I definitely wouldn't change it.
