O N E; the way we have aged

Aging can define such little things
Like the way you suddenly speak
It's slowly and steady like your heartbeat
We take advantage of who we used to be

Our teenage years went by like nothing
The memories were still lingering
Late night talks, were my favorite
In much ease to be in love with them

My childhood made me who I am today
Sometimes I wish I can just stay
Parents are always part of our lives
Rest in peace, here I lie
