Your dad, which is the coach, is letting you try out for the baseball team after you begged and begged him for a while so, Monty, your best friend, took you to the batting cages to help you practice.
He watches you hit a few balls and one of them you hit with a satisfying Whack!
"Nice hit, Y/N! You might actually be able to play and not just a bench warmer!" He jokes. (Below)

You stick your tongue out at him, "Yeah, soon you'll be the bench warmer."
"I'll get you for that!" He smiles. He turns off your cage and runs in. He grabs you by the waist and puts you over his shoulder just like you weigh as much as a feather.
You scream in laughter as Monty runs around the cage. You hit Monty's back with the palms of your hands but he doesn't put you down for a while.
Suddenly he drops you in his arms, bridal style, and you two just stay there starting at each other for a few seconds while you catch your breath before Monty leans in and kisses you. (Below)
