1. Official Receipt (OR)
- is the document supporting cash received. This is the reference for the journal entry debiting asset account cash.

2. Sales Invoice (SI) or Purchase Invoice (PI)
- is a proof of sales and a proof of purchase for the buyer.

3. Purchase Order (PO)
- this is to insure that purchase is authorize and therfore payment will be made as expected. This is also the preliminary agreement between the buyer and the seller.

4. Cash or Check Disbursement Voucher (CDV)
-supports insuance of bank checks. Bases for recording credits on the asset cash.

5. Bank Check (BC)
- is a cash. A bulk of cash collections are in checks.

6. Deposit Slip (BDS)
- a sum of cash received for a particular date or period. The bank validates deposit slips serve as additional evidence for journal entries (debits) to the cash account.

7. Journal Voucher (JV)
- is the document for journal entries for nonrecurring transactions and some events.

8. Statement of Account (SOA)
- are more commonly issued by utilities. Support journal entries that lead to an increas in the account expense.

9. Promissory Note (PN)
- is the proof of an obligation to pay in cash.
