The sky was blue as she walked along the shore, the beach was full for a change, kids playing in the sand and adults lazing around, she heard him before she saw him.
He was in his usual place on the sand, his guitar in his hand and his head down, he was wearing a blue shirt and she briefly wondered if that was why the sky was blue today.
She blushed as she walked by and he gave her a wink and went back to writing his song, when she walked back he was gone but she could still see him there in her mind, where he seemed to be most of the time. The blue sky watched her as she walked on the sandy top and thought of his smile.
