Seven of the Nara Deers were kept in lamps and hidden away to prevent extinction. One of the, was never caught for it was the Nara Deer King, Shika. These spirits were known for their intelligence. There was nothing it did not know about and people say you are able to understand want spirits say after merging with it.
I approached Shika and instead of fleeing, it stood still. As I got close I didn't sense any fear, instead I felt warmth from it. I don't know why but Shika chose me to be it's spiritualist. It was the first time someone or something cared for me and did not fear me. Ever since I was born, this was the best feeling, I ever had.
