america has been thrown into chaos following the release of an aerosol into the atmosphere that gave a small number of the population powers beyond their imaginations.

these changed people, now facing imminent persecution and capture, are forced to join a secret military operation where there's no consideration for age or disability. treated cruelly and as a portable army, there's no escape.

tala green has been protected by her family her whole life from this fate, but after her older brother is conscripted, she decides to take things into her own hands.

however, tala isn't like the others. her power is stronger, more unpredictable and harder to control. accompanied by her indomitable will and determination to free her brother, there's no telling what's going to happen.
