(example: soulmate 1 could get a burn mark and soulmate 2 feels the pain but doesn't get a scar)

the red string of fate-
an invisible red string that connects you to your soulmate. some people find their soulmates young while others find them when they're much older
Scenario 3:
Countdown- there's a timer on your wrist until you meet your soulmate
Scenario 4:
The last words that your soulmate says to you is on your wrist, so you have no clue whether you have found them or not until you have lost them
(bonus: you are dating [other character] and they get into a terrible car accident. You visit them in the hospital and before the die, they tell you words that don't match your wrist)
