Her help

Simon's Pov. (Ima input this Okay?)

"Damn.. the police are here... and the FBI... gotta lay low." I mutter as I hid in the storage unit. It was silent up here. They already investigated most of the roof, the missed my hiding spot by a hair...

Suddenly, the door opened. 'Shit.' I kept quiet, hoping they would go away. I hear all but my storage unit open. Finally, they were in front of mine. 'I need to act now.' I thought to myself as the door opened. I aimed at their head, but notice that it was a young woman. "D-don't move! Or I'll shoot!" I say in a hushed voice. All she did was look at me.

After what seemed like an eternity, she spoke up, "I have no intention to harm you, or turn you into the others. I was just "checking."" She said with air quotes.

I didn't believe her. "H-how do I know your n-not lying?" I asked her, more like demanded. "I'll throw my gun. I must warn you by the way, if you do shoot, the others will be alerted, and you will be killed, having me still alive. The bullet won't kill me." She says and threw her gun behind her, then put her hands up. 'What does she mean by that?'

She then whispered to me, "if you want to leave, go through the back way. There should be a ladder around there you can use. The police won't check it, because there was no forced entry or exit there.... I'm gonna let you live. Go back home, or wherever you live." I look at her with surprise, 'a human, or whatever she is, helping me?' She started to back up, place her gun back in her holster, and walk to the door.

"Thank you, miss..," "Audrey." "Miss Audrey..." I say and smile, she looked back over to me to show her own smile. Once she closed the door back, I made my way out. 'She was right, there isn't any police here.' I mutter and limped my way down. The making my way back to Jericho without being seen.

I limp to where the others are, but I see Markus walking through. He looks in my direction, smiles, in which I return, and hugged me. There after that, he got me fixed up.

"Simon! Are you okay?! I can't believe your okay! Thank goodness!" Josh says and pulls me into a hug. "That's what freaks me out... one of the police.... she let me go. Didn't even attack me. She told me where to leave, and I did. Her name was.... I believe she said it was Audrey." I explain to them the entire story of how she helped me. "I guess not all humans are bad, I mean, she let you get away." Markus said with a small smile.

"Maybe she could be of use to us. Help us out on getting the word spread." I said, with a determined look. I want to help my kind, in any way I can. "No! We can't trust her! What if she was just doing this to follow you?" North contradicted with a glare. "Humans cannot be trusted. You've seen what they can do."

"Excuse me, but are you talking about a young woman? One of the police, perhaps?" A Traci with blue hair came up to us, with her lover. "Yes, did she help you too?" I ask, desperate to find more evidence that she's good. "Yes. Her and two others, the two had their guns on us, but they never fired. She placed her gun away, and told us to go. That she will make sure we got away. In which she did." She says with a small smile. "The android hunter, when she said that, he had a look of confusion and admiration on his face when she did that. I believe she wanted to capture his feelings." The one with the short brown hair said. 'So she likes an android? That's probably why she helped us.' I thought to myself.

"I see, we need to find a way to contact her. I'll see what I can find by just her name." Markus said, he then left.

Audrey's Pov.

I was busy feeding Philip, Connor inside. I allowed Philip to get some outside time, for being a good boy. Suddenly, I felt a strong presence beside me. I knew who it was, and I blushed hard,and  turned to see Connor, at my side a soft smile adoring his features. I smiled, then sneezed. "Bless you." He says. "Thanks, must be someone talking about me. It's quiet rare for that." I say and continue to feed Philip, letting him do tricks and flips.

Connor, Hank and I, we have a small, one week break. I thought it'd be a good idea to get closer to Connor. So far, I think it's working.

My phone then rang. I took it out of my pocket, only to see it was a number I've never seen. "Excuse me for a moment, Connor, could you watch Philip for me?" "Of course. Anything for you." He said and smiled. I blushed, then went inside, and answered the call. "Hello, this is Audrey Pace speaking."

I was surprised to hear the voice on the other end, was none other than, the deviant leader himself, Markus.

"You're the Doctor who works for Detroit Police, right?" He asked. "Why yes, yes I am. Would you like for me to help you?" I ask while leaning against the wall. "Yes. We would like for you to come to the abandoned port. From there we will come to you. Understand?" "Yes, I understand. I will come unarmed, but incase if emergency, I will have a pocket knife. Is that alright?" I asked him. I always keep a pocket knife on hand, just incase there is an emergency. "Yes, as long as you do not use it for harm towards us." He replies. "I won't, don't worry, I'm not rude. I actually support you all. You deserve something that I don't have..." I mutter the last part quietly. 'After all, I'm never free from him...' I thought to myself grimly.

"So what time do you want me to show up? And what day? I cannot do it today, sadly." I say and wait for a response. "We can meet tomorrow at whatever time you feel right. Just let me know ahead of time." "Got it. I guess I'll see you tomorrow then. Goodbye." I say, "goodbye." He also says and hangs the phone up.

'Seems like you have a meeting with Markus!' Grace says in my head with excitement. 'Seems like I do....' I reply to her and go back outside to call Connor and Philip in.

"Come back inside now, it's getting too cold for Philip." I say as I watch the snow fall lightly. 'It'll melt this time, we'll have a bigger snow later...'
