उन्हें जब रास ना आए हमारा धड़कता दिल ,

तो लफ्जों के खंजर ले आए ।

अरे उनको कोई समझाए ,

हमारी साँसें रोकने के लिए उनकी नज़रें ही काफी हैं ।

किसी का अक्स आईने में रोज ढून्ढते हैं ,

भला बेचारा आईना भी कब तक हमें समझाए ,

कि तलाश हमपे ही शुरू और हमपे ही खत्म होती है ।
