Shane's POV

Here it goes.The new house. Mason is sleeping in the back of the car. It's been 2 years since Lisa got sent away to jail.Or went to a safe place so she can get better.At least that's what I tell Mason he's only 5 so I had to put it in a way he'd understand.Me and Joey has already came here and unpacked everything so everything was set up. I park in the drive way and turn the car off. I get out and jog around the other side to grab Mason without waking him. I lock my doors and head into the house. I walk up the stairs and go all the way to the end of the hall to his room. My room is right next to his and the guest room is down the other end of the hall. I know I could have taken the other room at the end of the hall but if he has a bad dream he doesn't have to walk in the dark down a long hall he can just run to my room. I sit him down in his bed and I hear a soft voice

Mason:Daddy?
Shane:sh...go back to sleep baby
Mason:ok

His voice fades because he falls asleep. I put the blankets over him. And I look at him and can't help to feel joy. My baby boy. Everything is perfect on him to me. His soft skin. His blond hair. His blue eyes. Chubby cheeks. His so cute. I leave out the room and shut his door. I go in my room and unpack my clothes. About an hour later Joey calls me. My heart does flips I'm so in love with him. I'm bisexual and he is gay openly. Have I told Mason about my sexuality and what it means and he was ok with it. Even thought he probably didn't know not a damn thing about what I was talking to him about. I had to put it in a way he would understand he is only 5. I answer the phone to hear the most second beautiful voice in the world (1st is Mason of course)

Joey:Hey boy!!

Shane:hello Joey!! I chuckle.

Joey:I was wondering if I could come over and me, you, and Mas can watch a movie and order take out?

Shane: sounds good and I sure Mason will love seeing his favorite person

Joey:he is my favorite person also but I'm going to be coming over in 30 min cool?

Shane:cool

Joey:ok see you soon Shaney

Shane:see you jo-jo

I ended the call. I went to go check on Mason he wasn't in his room. I panicked.

Shane:Mason!?!?Mason where are you?!?

I hear the toilet flush. And I look down the hall by the guest room at the bathroom and little Mason waddles out of the bathroom.

Mason:Yes daddy? I had to go to the bathroom

Shane:Nothing I just didn't know where you were.

Mason:I'm right here daddy! he laughs

He runs to me and I pick him up and tickle him

Mason:daddy stop!!!daddy I can't take it!!!!!

Shane:hahaha!!!

I stop we are both still giggling.

Shane:guess who's coming over today?

Mason:grandma?

Shane:nope guess again
