Chapter 12

"That I was-"

"You're her what Daniel?" Kathryn's dad interrupted.

"Hey dad. I thought you'll be home late?" Kathryn asks her dad.

"Well, my meeting was move so I gotta check my princess first. So what are you gonna say to her Daniel?"

"Uhm..uhm..nothing." I don't know what I'm gonna say.

"Princess will you go to your room first. I just need to talk to Daniel here. Is that okay?" Kathryn's dad asked her.

"Okay."

Kathryn then went to her room and I was left with her dad. And I'm gonna be screwed now.

"Listen here boy. I already told you that if you will tell her the TRUTH I swear to God you're going down and remember I have the power to fire you or to kick you out of the music industry. You don't know who you're dealing with." Kath's dad threatend me and I was so scared because it's one of my dreams to be famous around the world.

"I just can't stand there looking at her crying and it really hurts me. Sir, you know how much I love her but please stop lying to her already. She needs to know the truth about her. About everything." I answered.

"Listen here son, YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME. SO STOP TELLING ME WHAT'S RIGHT AND WHAT'S WRONG. You better go now or else I'm going to call the cops."

"But-"

"GO NOW! AND NEVER COME BACK AGAIN."

I went inside my car and drive away from Kathryn's house.

KATHRYN'S P.O.V

What are they talking about? What's the truth about me? Who am I? Is my name really Kathryn? I don't know what to do now. They don't know that I've heard everything what they said. AND I NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH.

I went downstairs to look for my dad and I found him at his office.

"Dad, can I ask you something?"

"What is it my princess?"

"What truth Daniel was talking about?"

"I don't know what you're talking about princess."

"Dad. PLEASE! I don't need another lie about me. I JUST NEED TO KNOW THE FUCKING TRUTH! PLEASE! DAD!"

"You really want to know the truth?"

"Yes."

"Okay." My dad sits at this small chair and I sit right beside him.

"So....it was 5 years ago when you and your parents got into an accident."

"What real parents? So I'm not your real daughter?"

"Yes you're not. But let me finish first. So yeah, you got into an accident and your parents didn't survive, only you survive in that tragic. You lossed your memory. Everything about you. Even your own name you can't remember. The doctor told us that you're having an amnesia and it will last forever. So I and your brother Kendall decided to tell you another story which is different from the real story about your life."

"So how did Daniel know about these things?"

"Well, he was the one you got into that accident."

'What? How?"

"You ran away from home. Your parents doesn't know where to find you. And you're with Daniel at that time. The both of you have this secret relationship because you don't want your parents to find out because you're already in a fixed marriage. So you decided to ran away. When some sources told your parents where you are they drive as fast as they can so they can catch you. And when they arrived your father forced you to go home. But you insist on not going home with them. So your father threatened Daniel. And you don't have any other choice but to go with them. But Daniel followed you and your parents. It was raining so hard that it's impossible to see incoming cars. And the road was slippery and your father didn't notice that there's an incoming car towards you. And you crashed. Daniel was there and he called the 911 and he was in shocked on what he saw."

"So why did you still give chance to Daniel, when his the reason why I got an amnesia?"

"Because I can see it in his eyes that his very sorry on what had happened. I forgive him and gave him a chance but in one condition."

"What condition?"

"He can still see you but he wouldn't say anything what had happened that night."

"So, if he followed your condition does that mean that he'll do anything just to see me?"

"Yes, because until now you're his true love."

"But what about Jo-ann? Aren't they dating?"

"As far as I know they are. But you need to talk to him about that. Any other questions my princess?"

"Uhmm..nothing...I..I just need to go to my room and think what I just heard."

"Okay."

So I went back to my room and for the next hours I just keep on staring me ceiling.

I should talk to Daniel about it. I need some closure between the both of us.

I went downstairs, grab the keys to my car and went to Daniel's house.

I rang the buzzer and someone went for the door. And it was Daniel.

"Hey Kathryn. What are you doing here?"

"We need to talk."

"Talk about what Kath?"

"I know the whole truth Daniel. Daddy told me everything."

"Ohhh.."

"Can I come in?"

"Ye-yeah sure."

I went inside his house and I was surprised on what I saw...
