🌊Pool Party🌊

Today was not my day.
I was on my period.
I also had plans to go to a pool party.
I had remembered my last pool party when I was 14.
My period had unexpectedly came while I was swimming.
So, when the pool began to give off a light red color, everyone knew it was blood.
And because I was wearing a white and blue swimsuit it showed that I was the culprit that had bled.
People teased me after that.
It was very embarrassing and nasty.
I didn't want to take any chances so I had decided to skip the pool party but...

"Come on, Gi Gi! You have to come! It's my birthday celebration," Seungmin whined over the phone.
I cringed.
"Seungmin, I'm on my period right now! I don't want to ruin your party if I bleed," I argued back.
"Well, don't women wear those sticks that go into their—" I cut him off.
"Yeah! But, I don't use those. Ok, what if I just come to the party to sun bathe?" I said.
He was silent.
"Fine. But please at least dip your feet in the water. I'll see you tomorrow!" Seungmin said.
I hung up.
I can't believe I agreed to this.

We had arrived at his party.
It was a rooftop party.
It was a hot day, a perfect day to get in the pool.
The boys took their shirts off and jumped in the pool.
"Gi Gi, are you coming?" Tae asked me as he took his shirt off.
"No, I'm just going to sun bathe. I'll probably dip my feet in," I said.
Tae shrugged then jumped in.
I did bring a swimsuit and some tampons in case I changed my mind.
"Hey Gi Gi!" Seungmin yelled.
"Hi, Seungmin! Happy Birthday!" I said handing him his gift.
"Thank you! Vernon should be here in a minute. But um... are you planning to get in?" Seungmin said.
"I'm thinking about it. I might just surprise you," I said with a smirk on my face.
He nodded then jumped in the pool with everyone else.
I was tired of watching everyone else have fun.
I went inside to change.
I came out with my two piece swimsuit and black sunglasses on.
I felt good.
I was making my way to the pool when I stopped.
Who am I?
I was never this confident.
My thoughts were interrupted when I was swooped up and thrown into the pool with someone else.
I was swam back up for air I could hear the boys laughing and high fiving.
Just then I saw his face.
D.O.
I wiped the water off my face and rubbed my eyes.
I had noticed my sunglasses were gone and no longer on my head.
"Hey, Gi Gi, why are your sunglasses on the floor?" Vernon said walking over to me.
I looked up at him.
"Were you not here when D.O literally threw me into the pool with him?" I asked Vernon.
He shook his head.
"Chill, Gi Gi. We were just trying to get you cooled off," D.O said.
I wiped my head back, my wet hair hitting Vernon in the face.
"Ow!" Vernon yelled.
I wiped my head back toward Vernon.
"Please get me out of here," I said.
I walked out of the pool.
I walked over to where the table of food sat.
"Sorry, I was late. We all had to get late gifts for Seungmin," Vernon said.
"It's fine," I said picking off food from the table and placing it on my plate.
I went to go sit down on a beach chair.
Vernon followed.
I was watching everyone at the when I noticed D.O get out of the pool.
He stood over the ledge and here was where I ceased my opportunity to get back at him.
"I'll be right back. Make sure to get this on film," I said to Vernon as I crept my way over to where he was standing.
I ran behind him and pushed him.
D.O fell into the pool face first and belly first.
"OH!" Everyone said as they watching D.O swim back up.
"That is what happens when you poke the beehive! You get stung!" I said then walked back over to Vernon.
Everyone else laughed at him and told him how he got owned.
I guess I could say this was a very successful pool party.
