Raised [Crowley Eusford x Reader]

4. Think it through

All you remember was Crowley scream your name before everything went black and silent.

You woke up shooting your head off the pillow and grabbing your head hearing the throbbing pain echo through your head. You looked up to see cold, blank and containing walls, a simple nightstand, and drawn curtains. You tried to get up but the room started spinning in all directions making you fall back down on the bed. 

'Where am I? Where's Crowley? Where's Ferid? What happened?' You thought to yourself. The questions pained you because you didn't know the answer to any of them. You clutched on to the necklace that was still hanging nicely around your neck and sighed in relief that it was still there. Soon after, a knock was heard on the other side of the door, a short young girl with purple hair and brown eyes appeared in the doorway. "Hello!" she said in a friendly tone, "I must believe that you are extremely confused right now, and I understand that. But hey, at least you're safe now." 

Safe?

"What happened? Who are you?" You asked the brown-eyed girl. "Oh I'm sorry, my name is Shinoa Hirragi. I'm part of the Vampire Extermination Army." 

'Vampire Extermination Army?!?!?'  

You jumped back and glared at her, "Oh, so you just brung me here to kill me huh?" You snapped. Shinoa looked confused, "Kill you?  no of course not! you're human!" You rushed over to the mirror to see your fangs and slightly pointed ears were gone. Now an even worse question popped into your head. Will your beloved vampires recognize you? You decided to calm down and actually talk to the girl in front of you. "Ok, yeah, so I'm (Y/n) (L/n) but I'm guessing you already knew that. So what you're saying is that you 'saved' me from the vampires and now what? Are you going to invite me to be apart of your vampire killing party?" Shinoa laughed, "Wow! you're smart! I was!" You were just about to decline but then, you decided to think it through. 

'Wait, If I join their little killing squad that means I have to fight vampires. But that means there would be a chance that I would see Crowley of Ferid on the battlefield and I can sneak away and get back to them. But also, there's a chance I would have to kill my own friends. Nah, they can pretend they're dead and It will all be fine, Right? Ok (Y/n), mission: Get back to the family, starts now!' 

"Ok, sure I'll join." You said standing up with a slight smile on your face. At first, you hated Shinoa since her little party kidnapped you away from your loved ones. But you think a friendship with her wouldn't be so bad. Shinoa jumped up in excitement, "Yay! I'll go tell Guren and then I'll introduce you to my squad and we'll all become best friends and-" She started to ramble on about random stuff,"...I'll just go now...haha." She ran out the door and you sat back down. She was weird, yes, but you were weird as well. You figured you were weird because you were raised by a frickin' crazy vampire named Ferid. 

It wasn't long until she came back, "Okay! ready to meet your new squadmates?" You nodded and followed her down the halls to the main room with a bunch of people in black and green uniforms. Shinoa cupped her hands around her mouth and yelled, "SHINOA SQUAD ASSEMBLE!" Four people, two guys, and one girl walked over and looked at you. 

   "Okay, everyone! we have a new squad member! guys, this is (Y/n) and apparently, according to records, she's really strong! So (Y/n), this is Mitsuba, Kimizuki, Yuu, and Yoichi!" You smiled and greeted everyone, then the one named Yuu got up in your face, 

"HEY. So what the vampires do to you?! How strong are you?!"

"uh..." You stopped to think of a fake answer, "I was kidnapped. And I'm strong enough to kick your ass." 

The black haired boy yelled but then became randomly serious, "Tch! I would like to see you try! Anyways, If you were kidnapped by the vampires, Did you know or see a vampire named Mika?" 

Of course, you knew Mika, you didn't know him very well, but you got along. And you knew he was something to Ferid since he was around him so much. It almost annoyed you that some other half-vampire took his attention. But anyways, You thought you should answer Yuu's question. 

"Yeah, I've seen him. He's was always near Ferid or Krul." You shrugged. Yuu smiled, "Really?! that's great! It's good to know that he's okay." Shinoa jumped in the conversation, "So (Y/n) here's your uniform and um, what about your weapon? Do you need a cursed gear?" You took the neatly folded uniform from her and shook your head. "No, I have something better, I use Black Curses, a stronger type of magic  that you can use by summoning my own weapons, plus I can use it freehand as well without a weapon." You explained. "Sounds cool!" Yoichi said in a high pitched voice, "You seem like you would be really strong!" You smiled, then the sound of the doors opened and someone stood in the doorway. He stood up tall and confident and was a colored soldier. You figured it was the Guren that Shinoa mentioned. 

"Hello everyone! I would like to direct your attention to our new comrade (Y/n) (L/n). She's a new very powerful aid to us so treat her well."

You could say you would mind a little if someone in your new squad was killed. They weren't like the people who ripped you from your family. They were nice and you did like Shinoa, you contemplated telling Shinoa the truth. But you weren't sure who you could trust, like Yuu, he seems like the type of person that if he knew that you had any friendly connection with the vampires he would kill you on the spot. 

So, you spent the day getting to know your 'comrades' and at the end of the day. You didn't know when you would see your family again. You hoped it was soon, But for now, you will stick with the Army until the day comes when you can be with Crowley again. Anyway, you didn't mind the friendly welcome to a temporary family.
