"I'm Jayden. Are you Annie?"
I blinked.
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked.
She was too beautiful and I couldn't function.
There was definitely something weird happening. I've never seen anyone I've thought were so good looking. Only like one other person, and that was my friend Hayden from my old school.
She laughed. That giggle was cute.
"I'm Jayden. Are you Annie?" She asked.
"Yeah. You're my tour guide, right?" I asked.
"Yep. Follow me," She said.
I had just moved to Los Angeles two weeks ago and instead of doing homeschool still, my parents wanted to send me to a real school. It's a private school, but it's still pretty big. There's eight hundred students from seventh to twelfth grade.
She led me down different hallways and showed me the gym, auditorium, and cafeteria. She had warm brown eyes. When she walked, her ponytail swayed from side to side.
She took me back to the office and we got my schedule.

5th period: World History, room 203
6th period: Honors Chemistry, room 301"Sweet! We have two classes together, history and English!" Jayden smiled.
I smiled and felt myself begin to blush. This is weird. I quickly covered my face and leaned on the table.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just. . . have a headache," I lied, then got up and left.
"Okay. Well, see you tomorrow then," she said.
I said bye and rushed out the front doors to the school. My mom had already arrived to pick me up. I got in the back seat with Hayley.
"How was it?" Hayley asked.
"It was good. The classrooms are nice," I smiled.
"Who gave you the tour?" mom asked.
"This girl in my grade, Jayden. Turns out we have two classes together," I said.
"Nice," Hayley said.
I stared out the car window.
I had no clue why I couldn't get Jayden off my mind.
