Betrayal

Chapter two

Lucifer's POV:

I looked in her eyes and saw the fear of trusting anyone again. The longer I looked I found that I was getting lost in her eyes.

I broke eye contact and stood up and headed for the door. I looked at her again and saw her looking at me with an expression that says please don't leave.

Your POV:

He left just like everyone else in my life. My parents left as well as my brothers. My friends left and never looked back. Hell, even my entire family left me.

I stood up and looked around for my bag which was by the door. I walked towards it and picked it up.

Goodbye Lucifer. I said in my head not expecting a reply but got one soon after.

I'll see you soon. Very soon. Just don't tell the Winchester's.

Sams POV:

We were driving for over two hours until I saw a figure that looked like Violet and I think Dean saw it too cause he pulled over.

"Violet?" I asked not expecting it to be her.

"Sam?" She said unsure of herself and she looked at me then at Dean. "Dean?"

She collapsed and both me and Dean ran out to get her. I got to her and picked her up and placed her in the back.

Your POV:

Dream:

I was sitting on a bench just looking out at the horizon when someone sat beside me and placed their hand on my shoulder.

"Violet listen to me. I don't want you to go with the Winchester's on there next hunt." Lucifer said.

I looked at him and nodded my head unsure of why he's telling me this, but for some reason I feel like I can trust him.

End of dream

I sit up, stand and make my way to where the boys were. I guess they heard me coming cause they looked at me and smiled.

"Morning Violet."Both Sam and Dean said and I just nodded and crashed on the couch.

Lucifers POV:

I was waiting for the boys when Deans Impala showed up and I sensed three people in the area.

Sam and Dean got out and walked towards me but stopped when another car door shut.

We all looked and saw Violet get out of the impala and made her way towards us. She kept her eyes trained on me though.

Your POV:

I saw Dean bring up the colt to Lucifers head and i ran in front of him. Dean didn't hesitate to shoot.

Bang!!

Lucifers POV:

Bang!!

Bang!!

Violet fell to her knees while Dean came to realization to what just happened. Both of them ran towards her while she backed up from them.

I walked towards her and knelt in front of her. She stood up and launched herself behind me.

Bang!

Another shot went off. I turned around and saw Violet on her side with three bullets inside her.

I placed my hand on her head and teleported her to where I toke her before.

I placed her on the bed, looked at her and I healed her. She sacrificed herself for me.

"Why must you be so reckless? Why did you take the shot? It wasn't going to do anything to me." I said.

Your POV:

I looked at him and I wondered; why did I take the bullet?

"I don't know. It felt like the right thing to do at the time."

Deans POV:

I shot her. I shot Violet three times. What have I done?

I looked at Sam who looked lost in thought. He turned and looked at me and I heard the fluttering of wings.

"Why would she do that? Why would she jump into the path of the bullet? Why did she protect him?" Sam asked.

"I am unsure but I think it has something to do with being his soulmate." Cas stated which caused us to look at him.

"What do you mean about her being his soulmate?" I asked not believing what he's saying.

"Well remember when he said that she's powerful?" I just nodded and he continued. "Violet is Lucifers soulmate and is part angel so together she can become very powerful.

A/n: End of chapter two and things are starting to get interesting. How are Sam and Dean going to take this? Why does Violet not know why she sacrificed her life for Lucifers? Find out in tomorrow's chapter of Saved By Satin.
