„Hey... I am Spider-Gwen." ______
Gwen Stacy was an ordinary girl, dreaming about having a great future with the significant one and having a happy end. But everything changed when she went with her science class to the Oscorp Industries on a field trip, she was standing next to Peter Parker and Ned Leeds, when the tour guide told them something about their next project for the future. Dr. Curtis Conners, an employer of the Oscorp Industries, told the group about the regenaration serum and why he wanted to test it on animals before testing it on humans, sadly when he showed them one of the test objects, a rat, it died. But the rat regenerated an arm, after it was cut off. Gwen watched as Peter was asking him, if he could try something out, when Dr. Conner allowed him, Peter went to the glas board and began writing down a Formular, to his surprise, it did work and everyone was amazed by it. She smiled, knowing, that he had helped someone out and congratulated to him. Months later, Gwen had a strange feeling. She suddenly had fast reflexes and she was way stronger than before, even working out was easier and she wasn't out of breath easily.
Since she knew, she was bitten by a radioactive spider, she started to went to a kick-box training center near her house, and trained every day. Using her strength, she punched the punching bag so hard, that the sand in it, came out of the bag. When she was home, she locked herself in her room, climbing the wall to the ceiling and walked on it. She felt free, she wasn't normal as other girls and she really enjoyed it.
Tuesday, her next subject was Chemistry, one of her least favorites subjects. She took her seat next to her lab partner Courtney and they started to do their assignment, when she noticed something. In front of her sat Peter and Ned, they talked. Even though they whispered to each other, she could understand every single word they were saying, and a smile formed on her lips. She wasn't the only one who had this kind of abilities and she found out, that the boy sitting in front was the one and only Spider-Man. Of course, she wouldn't tell anyone, she knew how he may have freaked out when he found out about his abilities. But she smiled, and turned back to Courtney and they finished it.
MJ was in History class, having a lesson about Alexander Hamilton. She was interested in it, after having seen the musical. It was the first lesson, where she didn't sketch anything, even though she wanted to. Her teacher, was a substitute teacher, since Mrs. Brown was sick. He told the class to read the first five chapters of the biography of Hamilton till the next lesson and that they could start now. MJ loved to read, so she began and was at chapter three, when suddenly a voice of the speakers of the school was heard. "Attention, Students and Teachers. We were informed that there was an explosion near the school. Please leave the building quickly. The school will be closed for the time being.", the school principle said and half of the class was happy that they didn't had any lessons anymore this day, others were worried and scared. MJ, however, was calm, she knew that Spider-Man would handle this easily, she trusted him.
As everyone was leaving the building, MJ found Ned. "Hey MJ.", he greeted her with a wave, she looked up and nodded. "Where's Parker?", she asked looking around him, raising a brow. "He went home.", gwen said, when she arrived them. MJ was confused. "And... you are?", she asked and looked her in the face. "Pardon, I'm Gwen Stacy. I'm with Peter and Ned in Chemistry class, and I saw him leaving the school.", she explained smiling, but frowned when MJ didn't return the smile. Ned was glancing back and forth between the two girls. "Anyways, MJ, you take the bus?", Ned asked after an uncomfortable silence, MJ turned to him nodding and the two went off. Ned waved goodbye, leaving Gwen behind. However, Gwen wasn't mad at MJ, she knew her. Gwen went towards the explosion, she took out her black hoodie and wore it, she then saw the Spider-Man through the city towards the explosion. "Bingo!", Gwen said and followed him.
The new Stark tower, a few streets away from the school, was exploded. Everywhere were injured people. Many of them bleed, others were inconcious or - she hoped not - dead. She saw broken glas everywhere on the ground laying, she took a sharp breath. "Help! My daughter, she's dying.", a young woman said, holding a little girl in her hand. Gwen went to her and took out her phone, she dialed the number of emergency center and helped the woman.
Spider-Man went into the stark tower, saving the injured people by bringing them out. While he did that, Ironman arrived and tried to help him by stabilizing the building before it could collapse. Even though it was a small explosion, many people died. Peter was frustrated, he couldn't save them all, he failed. The ambulance came and took the injured people with them, others stayed there and helped them. Spider-Man went to look who got injured and met Gwen. He was in shock, seeing her here. First, he thought, she was living there but since he knew that she didn't live there, he was curious why she was there. "Uh, excuse me miss, but do you live here, I can't remember saving you.", Peter said and Gwen looked up, staring into his eye lenses. "No, I don't live here, I just saw you swinging to this direction and followed you. Don't think that I'm stalking you, cause that's not the case, I wanted to ask you something... in private.", she said, whispering the end. Peter rose his brow, even though no one could see it.
Gwen and Peter were walking towards an alley, away from the injured people. When they stand still, Gwen took a deep breath, locked her eyes with the hero in front of her. "What I am going to tell you may surprise you, but I just want you to listen to me till I'm finished.", she said, getting a nod from Peter as respond. Her gaze stared the ground, before she looked up again. "I was with my science class at the Oscorp Industries, they told us about the regeneration serum. I think something happened to me, during the tour. We were walking past the room full of radioactive spiders, and I believe I got bitten by one of them.", she stated, and watched as his eyes widened.
