I have a habbit of over thinking things, here's one of the things i over thinked!
One of the things i over thinked is invisibility. You're probably like, it's invisibility how do you over think it? Quite easily actually.
So I had just finished reading Harry Potter and The Philosorphers Stone, and I'm stood there thinking how does the invisibility cloak work?
So it's a cloak, and when you wear it your invisible. But you're still a solid and also think about it, you're still a solid, people are looking right through you because you're invisible.
Now my theory is to do with the fact that you're still a solid, if you are a solid and you are in Scotland, where I live and also where hogwarts is, if you are in any sort of light you should have a shadow.
Before we get into why you can't actually be invisible, let's discuss the difference of transparency and invisibility.
When something is 100% transparent you can see clearly through the object but you can still see the object. Glass is a prime example for this, it's and object it's there, but you can see right through it.Invisibility, when a person or an object is completely clear and unable to be seen by the human eye.
Does anyone see my thinking? Comment if you do cause I'm about to try and explain it.
So like I've stated several time, when your invisible you can't be seen but you're still a solid. But if you're a solid especially in a place like Scotland, you will always have a shadow when in some sort of light and not in shade. There has to be a flaw in invisibility because when you're like me and overthink everything you realize that invisibility is stupid and even if it's at one certain angle you should still have a shadow (unless you're for some reason at the equator) making you transparent and not invisible.
That's the best I can explain it I just hope someone sees my thinking!
