Padmé X Male! Reader

Y/N'S POV:

I sat in the back of a ship filled with loud adults and children talking about things that don't matter like how they look or what they did yesterday. All of these conversations were useless. The main thing they should all be talking about it the war going on in the galaxy at this moment in time. In the corner of my eye, I saw a young child crouched in the fetal position. Slowly, I stood up from my seat and walked over to them. As I go closer, I noticed a group of children laughing and pointing at them. I made my way over tho the child and picked them up swiftly. They looked at me but went back to curling up in my arms. By the time I grabbed the child, the ship had landed so I walked out of the doors with everyone staring at my back.

After walking around for a bit, I found a quiet area where I placed the young child on the floor and kneeled in front of them. They look at me with tears in their eyes. I could tell that the child was a little girl.

"what's the matter darling? What did those other children do to you?" I asked in a calm voice. She looked down at the floor and shook her head saying no. "if you don't tell me what they did to you then I can't help you."

"if I tell you... then they will... hurt me more," she said between sobs. By the end, she bursted into more tears. I leaned over and hugged her with her head against my chest and my chin on her head. After a little while, she looked up at me, a dried-up face and with a small smile on her face.

"thank you, mister, is there anything I could do to repay you? Your hug made me feel safe and happy which is something I haven't felt in ages," she said in a cheery voice. I was glad she was feeling better and stopped crying.

"I am looking for someone. She has short brown hair, smooth looking skin and brown eyes," I said as I pulled out a photo of the girl I was looking for. She looked for a second then looked at me with an even bigger smile.

"that's my big sister, Padmé Amidala! She's currently at the Jedi temple visiting master obi-wan and Anakin Skywalker. Her and Anakin are secretly married," she said as she grabbed my hand and started dragging me in a direction.

After a quiet, long walk, we made it to the main entrance to the Jedi temple. Out front, was many clones and Padmé who was talking to a tall man with a small green person next to him. One of them was master Yoda and the other I guessed was Anakin Skywalker.

"Sister! I found this man who was looking for you," the little girl screamed as she ran over to Padmé. She hasn't changed a bit since I last saw her a few years ago. I bet she can't even remember who I am. All three of them looked over at me.

"who are you and why are you looking for me?" Padmé asked in a confident voice. She really didn't remember me? I took of my mask and stared straight at her.

"still don't know who I am, my dear? How could you forget your best friend since you were four years old?" I asked with a slight smirk on my face. Her face changed from being confident to shock and guilt?

"Y/N!? where have you been for the past two years? You just vanished one day, and I never found out why," she said as she walked over to me, embracing me in a tight hug. Anakin and Yoda stood confused and dazed.

"Know him, you do?" asked yoda as he made his way over to us, Anakin following behind.

"this is the woman I told you about before I left to fight in the war. We used to be friends, but I forgot to tell her that I was leaving to fight," I said as I scratched the back of my neck. "so, what's this about you being married Padmé?"

Her body went tense as she stared down at the floor.

"I forgot to tell you that I got married to someone. I married him the day after you left," she said with a bit of caution. I stared at her in disbelief. How could she forget to tell me something so major like that?

"come inside, to talk, why don't you?" asked yoda.

We all walked towards the entrance to the temple. Me and the little girl were at the back.

"I'm sorry that she didn't tell you. I never told you my name! my name is Yuki!" she said as we slowly followed master yoda and the others.
