Mom, seriously, I'm done being you. My whole life I've been wearing what you thought was "appropriate for a lady" and had the styles and designs you used to wear when you where my age.

I've been dressing and even acting like you my entire life. You've always told me what was okay to say "for a girl". Does that mean that if I where a boy I could say other things I am prohibited to say now as a girl? It doesn't make any sense! If there are things that are so bad that I am prohibited to say then boys should be prohibited as well.

Punishments.... Uhhhh. Almost every time you punish me for doing something like fight back or say a bad word you always say "You're grounded! Now, if you were a boy,
I wouldn't have to punish you, because doing what you did would be alright". Why would they be excluded from your punishments?

I'm sick of your rules and your dumb logic! Being a boy doesn't make you any different from being a girl. We are both human beings and that's all that matters. We shouldn't have benefits for only one gender or certain rules that only apply for the other. As I said, Mom, Im done being you, and from now on, I WILL be me.
