×Reader's POV×
I was currently sitting at the end of a table at a shady looking restaurant; wondering how I even got into a situation like this, especially on my first day off from work.
Picture this: 3 big fucking morons, a guy who can't hold his liquor, a girl with no shame, a weary soft boi, and an annoyed (Y/N)(L/N). It was a disaster.
Letting out a sigh I pinched the bridge of my nose and thought back to how I got in this situation in the first place.
~Flashback~
Lessons were finally over, and I was sitting in a random seat facing Daniel. He was talking about a cool game I should try, and how much he really liked the graphics.
"Y/N! Daniel! Just the people we wanted to see!" Came from one of the three goons. I frowned in distaste at the three of them.
"What do you want?" I asked not trying to hide the irritation in my voice.
All three of them frowned at my tone but quickly hid it with a smiled. "We were thinking about having a little get together. And we'd like it if you guys joined." Doo replied, while the other two nodding behind him.
"What? A get together?
"Yep. It is a start to a new semester."
"We're having a get-together today."
"You guys should join."
"Friends should get acquainted."
Friends? Why would they think we are friends. I thought that all those times i glared at them, that they would leave us alone? They even tormented Daniel and his mother, but they didn't know that.
Thinking that Daniel was on the same page as me, I was about to voice my reply. "Okay. I can hang out for a couple of hours." Daniel said, looking bashful.
'....What the fu-'
"Y/N you can come, right?" Doo asked, turning to look at me. "No," I said looking him straight in the eyes before turning away from the four of them. My gaze immediately got caught by Jay, he was waving his notebook at me all the way at his desk. I quickly read what was on the page.
"Please go with them! I would go but I have family business to attend. And I want Daniel to be safe."
After reading what the note said, I saw his pouty lips. I quickly turned away, I didn't want to get captured by the puppy eyes he was trying to give me. When I faced Daniel, he also had puppy eyes. I squinted at him shaking my head slowly giving him silently telling him to knock it off. He started to fill his eyes with tears his bottom lip also started to tremble.
I reached my arm behind my back making sure it faced Jay, before flipping him off. "You fucking owe me," I said, giving a little huff. I could hear Jay clapping softly behind me.
~End of Flashback~
I felt a little better about the whole ordeal, thinking about Daniel's extremely happy mood on the way here. But I quickly remembered who I was sitting next to once again.
'....Zack.....grossss....'
Every time they asked Daniel a question, and he gave a "cool" reply, Zack would throw back a shot quickly getting drunker than the other people in our group, or in the restaurant.
I decided, before I even came to the restaurant, that I didn't want to partake in anything that they did. I had packed a water bottle and a bag of chips. It was a good choice if I do say so myself.
"Hey, kids. Anyone else coming?" Said an older lady directly behind me. "Nope." One of the goons replied. "Then just stay quiet, okay? Just stay out of trouble." She said.
'She must've been the owner, I think I saw her picture up on the wall by the door on my way in.'
She looked up and we made eye contact. Her eyes widened but then she looked at Daniel and they somehow widened even more. "Hey, kid. Something else you want to eat? What about you sugar?" She asked, addressing Daniel then me.
"No thanks!" We said at the same time. I lifted up my almost empty bag of chips as proof. "Pick anything it's on the house." She said. "WOW! Ma'am you rock!" Daniel replied.
'He must've never been offered free food before.'
"I'm sorry, but I must decline. Thanks for the offer though" I said, giving her a smile, before scrolling through my phone again. I did see the heavy blush that appeared on her face when I was turning around.....but that's not my problem.....
I got tired of Zoe and the owner silently going back and forth over Danny. I'm pretty sure that he knew what was going on also. Looking behind me, I didn't expect to get a face full of cougar boobies. I quickly leaned away and went back on my phone.
'They actually looked good for a woman her age' I thought, hiding my smirk behind my phone.
A couple of minutes after the lady left, Zack slammed face down on the table. I had dropped my phone from being startled. "Hey slow down! Why is this dick slamming them down today?" Doo said sounding irritated but a little concerned.
"Hey. Daniel Park, Y/N L/N." Zack addressed us before standing up suddenly. "You're really handsome. I'm jealous. And you're pretty hot when you don't glare. You should smile more." He said looking at Daniel then looking at me. I glared at him, before looking towards Daniel with confusion on where this conversation was going.
"Let's be friends." He said leaning towards Daniel. "Let's hug it out, okay?" He asked, before unexpectedly kissing Daniel. I choked on my chips at the sight in front of me.
I quickly went to a trashcan nearby trying to spit out what was in my mouth. I spent a good 7 minutes dry-heaving over the trash, making sure I wouldn't die of leftover chip chunks.
Walking back, there was a commotion with a group of three from another table with mine. I placed my hand on Daniel's shoulder, ready to ask what had happened. But I saw how quickly his face was getting red.
I moved his face towards me and moved his hair out of his face before leaning in.
I placed my forehead on him, and I could feel how hot it was. I could also smell his breath and immediately smelt booze. I moved away from him before rolling my eyes.
While I was busy dealing with Daniel, I didn't notice that the group of three were next to me. The skinny guy grabbed Doo by his hair and pulled his head back. "Who do you think you are?" He asked before raising his hand getting ready to slap Doo.
"HEY! What do you think you are doing?"
