I'm Going Off The Rails

On a crazy train!

Welp. VBS is over now. It was pretty crazy, tbh. My 'name' on my name tag was 'Nobody' because I couldn't think of anything else. But I thought it was funny, "Nobody's getting snacks"
"Nobody's helping." And all that. I really didn't do a lot to help except bring up snacks to the yard when they were ready.

One of the days I helped make glowstick things for one class, such as; glowstick glasses, bracelets, rings, etc.

Another day I helped count coins kids brought in for the 25 cents a meal for kids around the world. 

I'm sure I did more, but that was a lot of it.

Yesterday was the last day so we had a supper for the kids and parents. It was hotdogs, beans, and potato salad. There was multiple kinds of sodas, and for dessert there was ice cream sandwiches. We (when I say we I mean everyone else) set up little games for the kids to go around and play, too.

I helped give ppl the potato salad, though there was pretty much two kids who took it. But some adults took some.

Kirsten was back from Summer Camp in time to go to the last day of VBS and I think I saw her helping with one of the games, so good for her :P
Also her BF came and helped a bit too.

After I drained two sodas and started on a third most of the kids were gone, so the church people started taking down the decorations that took a whole week beforehand to get up. I was actually needed a lot for that (they needed my height) to take down some higher up decorations. Also when I was taking down some things, Jett (the cutest 1 year old ever[today is his birthday]) tried to drink my soda....Kirsten said it was just baby drool, but I still dumped that out mournfully.

Don't worry! I still got another one :P

After all of that, like, ten of us stood with a hoo-la-hoop wrapped in those confetti streamer things, and since it took so long to get up, they just carefully rolled up the streamers, and tied them to the hoo-la-hoop for...I dunno, next year? But that took quite a while.

Then we went home and died! WAHOO
