[MMD] Catch Me MEME {SetoSolace}

Fact #1: I was there the day the original creator posted the meme. Like, not actually there, but I'm subscribed to them and saw the meme the day it was uploaded. I fell in love with it.

Fact #2: I like making things more complicated. Seriously, check out the rest of the MMD Catch Me memes. They follow the same format as the original while I go above and beyond. Oh, how proud I am of this.

Fact #3: I thought of putting the motion for download, but ended up deciding not to because of some complications and having to explain how to make the camera work when Seto's face is randomly flashing.

Fact #4: The ending was rushed, ufcigv7ctitd. If you're on computer, you can slow if down and view it. Idk. I hope it was understandable at least.

Fact #5: Guys, the fight scene. What's your opinion of it? Yeah, I'm pretty proud of it. It's cool to animate it and see it brought to life. Imma do more some time. But oml, the drop scene where Seto gets pinned down by Brice, MMMM. Proudest part to animate, too bad it goes by fairly quickly. If you want to see the video showing everything behind the scenes of the animation, basically just the characters with no fancy effects and camera movement, tell me and I'll unlist it.

Fact #6: I thought of it out of the top of my head, lucky enough I had already been working on this Brice model I think before starting to animate and finished it half way into it. I don't storyboard much of the stuff I come up with, I should though. Explains how the ending was rushed.

Fact #7: The smoke that covers Brice was going to transition differently. I was going to use an effect called SelfDarkness which mimics SelfBurning, an effect I've used multiple times on my other videos, but with a dark aura instead of fire. It for some reason didn't work. None if my mmd buddies knew why, so I switched to plan B.

Fact #8: it was always going to end with that pinch the ear forced kiss, lmao. No matter how dark I made the beginning.

Fact #9: The story that went through my head making this.

Brice's relationship with Seto. He loved him, but Seto didn't seem to give that same back -- at least, not on the outside. Due to Seto's quick mood swings, what Brice tried to make into a reality just ended up slapping him in the face, literally. Brice tried to make him happy, but the fun would always end with some sort of resentment, neglect, abuse, and miscommunication. Before Brice transforms to this dark form, Seto is walking away from their relationship, basically calling it off before it starts. The feelings of Brice that he couldn't do anything right is what pushes him over the edge and transforms him to this dark version of himself to pay back for the abuse and mixed signals.

Seto does look back at Brice before he transforms, there being some sort of feelings there in his heart. They fight each other, but Brice's overpowers Seto. As he's about to give the final blow, Seto forces Brice to kiss knowing that's something he always wanted and never gave.

That's how I see it. What did you think?
