i quickly pick up the phone. i've been craving jasmines voice lately.
"hi jojo"
"hi jazzy" i replied
"when are we gonna hang out again?" i added
"i don't know, when are ya free?" she asked
"whenever" i said
i could feel her smiling on the other side
"okay" she said
"let's hang out" she giggled
"now?" i asked
"yes, dork" she giggled even more
"okay, lemme get ready. i'll call you when i'm at your hotel" i said and started to head towards my closet
"alrighty. see ya in a lil bit" she said and hung up

i tipped the uber driver and got out. i headed towards the lobby and greeted the lady at the front desk
"it's you again" she rudely said
"i guess you remember me from last time?" i said, though it came out more as a question than i had anticipated
"yea. i do." she replied not looking at me at all
i just continued to walk to the elevator while nodding my head since i didn't know what else to say. i started to look for jasmines room. i finally got to it and knocked on it.
jasmines cute face popped up while opening the door.
"hi cutie" i smiled
"stooop. you're making me blush" she hid her face
while i walked inside, i grabbed her hand and lightly grabbed her chin to turn her head back to me
"you're beautiful"
i slowly started leaning in, and so did she. but as i was about to kiss her, she leaned away and awkwardly coughed.
"oh sh-... i'm sorry" i said and awkwardly scratched the back of my neck
the room soon filled with tension.
"it's fine" she said. trying to break the silence
"well, uhm, what do you wanna do?" she asked
"movie and snacks?" i asked
"oh my god, yes!" she exclaimed
"let's go to the vending machine!" she said and started to skip her way to it
i laughed at her skipping. it was pretty cute.
we got to the vending machine and we started skimming through our choices
"i think i'll get some sour patch kids" jasmine said
"you can never go wrong with some sour patch kids" i winked
"you right" she laughed and gave me finger-guns
she put in a dollar and .50 and soon got her sour patch kids. she smiled like a little kid buying a toy from toys r us
i on the other hand was still debating on what to get
"i guess i'll just get some hot cheetos" i shrugged
"laaaaame" she joked
"shut uppp" i joked back
i also put in a dollar and .50. i grabbed my hot cheetos and we made it back to the room.
jasmine grabbed her laptop and opened up netflix
"what movie should we watch?" i asked
"how about a show!" she suggested
"alright" i shrugged
i didn't really care about what we watched. as long as i was with jasmine, it was more than enough
jasmine scrolled endlessly through the tv show category
"let's watch 'chasing cameron'" jasmine smirked
"oh my god, you wouldn't!" i shook my head
"we're watching it!" she smiled
"no, please. i look like a fetus there" i whined
"a cute fetus" she clap backed
i just shook my head and laughed
i grabbed my hot cheetos and opened them. jasmine quickly shoved her hand inside the bag and grabbed a cheeto
"hEY!" i pretended to be mad. i tried so hard not to laugh
"is for horses" she said and calmly ate her cheeto
"that's what chad told me once!" i chuckled
"no one asked you" she laughed to herself
"and that was my response!" i added
as soon as jasmine opened her bag of sour patch kids, i as well got one.
"hEY!" she whined
"is for horses!" i mocked her
we stared at each other for a while and burst out laughing

we were in the middle of an episode when i heard jasmine yawn. i pulled her closer to me so that i could cuddle her.
"we're just friends" jasmine reminded me
"yea, whatever" i said
we both soon drifted off to sleep and i couldn't be any happier.
