Danny, I remember the time I first saw you. You had just come back from your basketball practice. You know being the star quarterback and all.
Dishevelled hair, sweat dripping your forehead, you stood out in the crowd due to your Adonis like appearance. It wasn't hard to notice you and then in the amidst of the crowd, our eyes met. Your ocean like blue eyes twinkled in amusement as you saw me.
And then you winked. I was goner then, falling for you charms.
But what I didn't know was that it wasn't gold in your personality, just a mask of lies. Lies that glittered.
I should have know all along that all that glitters isn't gold. Maybe it would have saved me a heartbreak.
