Mating

I was so happy - I was sure Nightshade wanted to be my mate. 

When could I ask her? This was my chance to increase the population of Night Furies. I had to ask her at some point. So I decided to ask her when I caught lots of fish for us. I went to the cove. I couldn't let Nightshade know I was catching fish for her yet, it was a suprise. So I went to the spot at the lake. It was a great spot for me. The sun shines on it and there's shade there too, it's far away from Nightshade's cave, and lots of fish swam there. I saw five fish swimming bye, two brown trout, two salmon, and a cod. When they were close together, I attacked. I grabbed all five of them in my mouth at once. I proudly walked back to the middle, and went into Nightshade's cave, where she was having a nap. I nudged her awake. "What is it Toothless?" she asked me. "I have a suprise for you", I said. "It's in the middle of the cove." I knew Nightshade was hungry, because I heard her stomach. She crawled out of the cave behind me. I showed her the five fish. Salmon were her favorite. "Oh, Toothless!" she cried. "Thank you! But five fish are going to be hard to split between us." "I know", I said. With my claw I push the salom to her and cut the cod in half with my claw and gave one half to her. "Perfect, Toothless!" said Nightshade. She gobbled all of her fish. I did the same.Then, Nightshade licked me. I licked her too. So... I decided to ask her. This was the moment of truth. "Nightshade..." I started, wondering if I should ask now. YES! I thought. This was what I decided! "Yes, Toothless?" asked Nightshade. I saw hope in her eyes. "Will...will you do the honor of being my mate?" I asked her cautiously.

"Oh, Toothless!" cried Nightshade.

Dun Dun Duuun! The suspense. Sorry if this chapter was very short, I wanted to make it exciting. Comment on what you think should happen in the sequel.

This story is going to end with Nightshade and Toothless having babies.

YES, I know there's another book with a female Night Fury called Nightshade. This is based off of it. All credit for the name goes for the owner. I might have already said that last time...lol
