I was sitting in my room near the window and scanning my favorite photo album which had a lot of thrill and love. We have a lot of photo album but this one is different for it was thoroughly made by my beloved wife. And it also kept me distracted from recalling all the horrible memories in my past at the same time, it kept me recollected by our delightful moments together.
Moments passed, my eyes caught the glowing full moon outside my window and I stared at it. It looked beautiful, spreading light in the darkness of the night.
"It would be perfect if she's still here" I sadly whispered in the air trying to envisage her smile.
As much as I want to continue reminiscing the past, it seemed impossible due to sleepiness. I decided to go to bed and pulled the comforter up to my chin. I snuggled my face in the pillows and drifted into a dreamless slumber.
A sweet female voice woke me up.
"Hey! Get up lazy head"
I lazily open my eyes but as the sunlight coming from my window directly hit my eyes, I immediately covered my face with a pillow.
"Hey!" she shouted and harshly pulled the pillow away from covering my face.
Oh God! Can you please take Lorren away from me. This annoying brat never fails to make my day terrible.
"I'll count Zedd..1...2..." and before the last favorite digit of her comes, the pillow that serves as a wall between me and the sunlight flew towards Lorren's face. I smirked as I saw her annoyed face.
"What do you want?" Coldly, I asked as I looked thoroughly on her beautiful face. Okay, I won't lie that I love her so bad but I'm tired, really and all I want is to rest. Forever.
"Tying to kill yourself again, huh? Come on Zedd. Life is wonderful. Let's have fun please...pretty face will eat you now!" I was shocked by her change of expression. From being annoyed to being cute and wait, pretty face will eat me, what?! Oh, I think it would kill me.
She hold my hand and dragged me to somewhere I don't know. Because of laziness, I didn't bother myself to care if where she's about to go or what I looked like right now. Remember, I just woke up and Lorren forget about this fact.
After a long walk,
"What the...Lorren?!" I hissed as I looked around the place where she want us to 'have fun'. Like, how can I even have some fun in this kind of place, full of cheap people surrounded by dirty street foods.
"Let's eat!" she happily run towards a street food corner still dragging me.
I just watch Lorren while eating an unknown food. She giggled at me seeing the disgust covering all over my face. But, I can't help but to smile and remove those intimidating thoughts inside because of her overflowing cuteness.
"Try it Zedd. The taste is great. You'll love it, promise" she said while looking at me still with her cute giggles.
If I am not in love with this girl, I won't never ever let this dirty food enter my mouth.
I slowly take small bites with a nausea. While I'm eating, I heard Lorren giggling at me.
"How was it?" she ask me while grinning widely with a twinkling eyes.
"Okay fine. It was good"
"I told you!"
"But Lor..."
"No buts for now, baby. I'm the boss for today's date Kev. Pay our bill!" she giggled then flipped her hair.
We did a lot of fun stuffs together. Although it's cheap, but I can't deny that it was one of my favorite date. The happiness is unforgettable and for the second time, she closed the grave I made for myself.
I sit on the cold ground covered by green grasses. I place the bouquet of flowers beside the picture of my belove. I let all the tears run to my face as I touch her name written on her grave.
I miss her a lot.
She will always be on my heart no matter what.
I gasped as her sweet voice echoed on my mind.
"Zedd, you know that I love you right? Don't forget it, okay?"
"I won't and never be forgotten, Lorren. Thank you for giving me a drop of forever. I love and miss you so much. Wait for me, dear, I still have to live the life you have given to me"
