Chapter 31: Mafia ball...

"Oh my gosh girl I can't believe we're actually going to a ball full of mafia men" Linda says with a wide smile as I put my lip gloss on,

"Yes Linda, for the hundredth time I know you can't believe but if you keep saying it over and over I won't believe either" I say rolling my eyes before checking to see if my makeup was fine before putting my phone and lip gloss inside my white diamond clutch I bought a few days ago for tonight,

"I know but remember how your dad used to tell us that we weren't aloud to go because we were to young and we needed to be kept indoors away from the mafia men" Linda says as I stared in the mirror at the short white glittery backless dress I decided to wear tonight with my white ankle strap sparkly heels,

"I remember, but now that we're both over 18 and have men in the mafia to protect us we can go if we feel like it" I say moving my long wavy brown hair over my shoulder to show off my diamond earrings,

"Wow, you really went all out" Linda says as I turn around smiling,

"I know, because like Luke said since I'm married to the most powerful mafia man alive I have to show people I can be the most powerful mafia woman married to the most powerful mafia man alive" I replied looking at my nicely done nails and the large wedding ring Sebastian put on me a year and a few months ago,

"You hang out with that dude to much" Linda says with a weird look as I laughed,

"He's the only guy around my age I can talk to at work when the guys are to busy with meetings and stuff and plus you always leave me on read when I ask if you wanna come hang out during my lunch break and stuff" I say with a frown while looking in my closet for a coat as she laughs,

"Ain't nobody tryna eat lunch around all those paperwork and stuff you guys do over there plus just to let you know me and your brother are thinking of moving our relationship to the next level" She says as I was about to grab my black and white fur coat before stopping,

"Wait? You guys are thinking about..." I trailed off while turning to her with a gasp as she showed me her hand and I shrieked,

"Oh my god! When did this happen?! Why the fuck didn't you tell me?!" I shout jumping up and down with her as she laughed,

"It was like a last minute thing plus I didn't really know till this afternoon when I woke up after having the best morning sex with him and finding this on my finger" She says as I gasp,

"First off TMI, second off what?! I can't believe he just put a ring on it without telling me!" I gasp loudly while staring at the ring,

"He didn't wanna announce it till tomorrow but you know I can't keep anything from you in less than 24 hours" She says with a frown before we laughed,

"I can't believe we're going to be sisters in law" I say with a grin as she giggles before a knock came at our door,

I went to open the door to find my stepmom Daisy there with a confused look.

"I heard a shriek" She says as we laughed,

"It was nothing, is everyone ready now?" I asked as Linda came to my side with a smile,

"Yes, the men are waiting downstairs" Daisy says with a wink as we laughed before walking downstairs with her to the front door,

"If you keep your mouth like that you'll catch a fly" Linda says as we walked up to her brothers who were staring with open mouths,

"Where's my beautiful wife?" I hear my dad ask as the front door opens revealing my dad in his all black tux he always wears to the mafia ball,

"You look beautiful my lovely daisy" My dad says putting away his phone and hugging Daisy as I smiled before a pair of arms wrapped around my waist from behind,
