~(y/n)'s POV~
You walked home from work as an State Alchemist. You weren't the kind of Alchemist than ran around the entire country trying to figure things out. You preferred to stay in central, and for good reason. You walked up the stairs to your small apartment and unlocked the door. "Nico! I'm home!" You shouted after closing the door. Shortly after that, you were tackled by your little brother, Nico. You named him Nicademis, but called him Nico for short (I like the name Nicademis). He wrapped his arms around your waist and hugged you. "Welcome home, sister." He said, smiling up at you. You smiled back and patted his head. You had a small hint of worry in you though. Your boyfriend was a Alchemist as well. He was The Fullmetal Achemist. You were worried about what he would do to your brother if he found out about your little secret. Nico was a homunculus. You and your older sister were trying to bring back your mother, but it failed. Your sister lost his entire body and you lost both of your legs. The result was Nico. You raised him on your own, because you were now alone. Ed and his brother, Al, had done something similar, but they didn't get a homunculus as a result. The doorbell rang and you knew who it was. You walked to the door and opened it, seeing Edward on the other side. "Hey Ed." You said, hugging him. He hugged you back and said,"Hey, (y/n)". You let him in and held his hand as you introduced him to your brother.~Time Skip~
Nico, you, and Ed were just finishing dinner, which was (f/f) (favorite food). All you had laughed and talked the day to night. Nico yawned as he placed his plate in the sink. He walked back to the table and hugged your side, signalling that he was ready to go to bed. "Excuse me Ed, I've got to take this little guy up to bed." You said, rubbing Nico's back. Ed smiled and ruffled Nico hair. "Sweet dreams, little buddy." He said, as you picked up Nico and carried him upstairs to his room. After laying him down and putting him to sleep, you walked back downstairs, only to be met a stern gaze from Edward. You shifted a little and walked over to the table and sitting beside him. "Why didn't you tell me he was a homunculus?" He suddenly asked. You heart skipped a few beats as you looked down. "I saw the symbol of the back of his neck when you picked him up. Why would you . . ." He started, but you cut him off. "Eddy, I can explain. Just . . ." This time, he cut you off. "Don't 'Eddy' me! You sweet talking is not getting you out of this! Now answer my question!" Ed shouted, standing up from the table and slamming his automail hand down when doing so. You jumped a little, but remained silent anyway. "One of those things killed Hughes and your raising one as your family?!" He yelled again. He started heading for the door, but you grabbed his arm, stopping him. He turned around angrily, but it quickly turned to guilt as he saw tears streaming down your cheeks. "I know. I already lost my mother and my sister. I didn't want to be alone, so I raised Nico. Then I met you, and my life started seeming a little less horrible. I don't want to be alone again." You said, wrapping around his waist and quivering as you hugged him. He patted your back and hugged you. "I'm sorry. I just got a little worked up. Nico's a good kid and I don't think he's going to hurt anyone." He said, kissing your forehead. You smiled and said,"Thanks for trusting me.".
Sorry that it took forever for me to update this. I got sick and then had to make up a lot of school work. I'm not able to use my phone as much as I used to, so it'll take longer to update. Anyways I love you guys and as always I bid you adieu. ~blue_castielle
