the greeting of unnecessary Pain as a fond friend is a sign of a torturous existence and i hope the two of you don't meet often. it is unavoidable and sometimes dually earned in this life, but dear one, do not mourn the absence of something designed to wound. do not let them in when Desperation and Agony come knocking, waiting to drag gleaming claws across your split skin. acknowledge they are there, tell others they stopped by to visit, but never open a door to the Harm which wishes to plant blooming bruises up and down your lovely arms.
- Self-Loathing shows many faces; turn them all away
