I have a theory. Since they made a reference from the legend of Korra then maybe that's not the only one. When korra was younger she was silly, funny, and basically a tomboy. Lance is silly, funny, and has almost the same appearance as Korra. Also when Korra became older she was more serious and less like a tomboy. Lance also has became more serious over time.

Even though they do have a slightly different style to me they kinda look the same. Just a bit. Keith and asami kinda look the same too.

They both are also serious too. Later on Asami became more herself. Keith is improving too. All of the characters have the same color, skin tone, color hair, and same color of clothing. They also almost have the same personalities too. In the legend of Korra, Korra was once boyfriends with Mako. After a while Korra broke up with him. So that means that lance will might be with Allura, but later on he will break up with her. Then again Asami was with Mako first. Keith may or may not be with Allura. I think they won't, but I think lance will be with Allura for a short amount of time. Korra and Asami are together. Lance and Keith might be together. I need to watch the legend of korra again. I haven't been watching it in a few years. If I made mistakes then please tell me or I'll just correct them when I watch the series. Besides this is just a theory.
