The sun hits my eyes and for once, I wake up civil. I stretch and see him sleeping, he looks so peaceful and I hope he stays that way. His eyelashes brush against his cheek and he mumbles in his sleep, I still wonder what he dreams about. I caress his hair and he murmurs... holy shit I love him. Suddenly, the interrupting sound of the phone blares and I rush to it.

"Yes!" They better have a good reason for calling this fucking early!

"... Simon? Sorry mate! I know its real early and all, but I just drove into town about your message"

"Oh! Good! Sorry for that, I just have... company and they're still sleeping" I hear a laugh from the other line.

"Are they going to be leaving soon then player?" Damn! I'd prefer not to mention our relationship, be professional.

"Ah... ha! You got me there mate! You know me!" well... not the real me.

"Ha! Yeah matey! So, I'm staying at the Ross Hotel and I'm ready to see you today if that's cool?"

"Sure sure, I'll let Robert know and we'll see you soon. Let's say around 11 at the pub? You know which one"

"Sounds good Si, catch you then" the line ends. I think that Si is copyrighted to Rob. I hang up the phone and see him groan and stretch, even when he's on the phone he wakes up people. He's a real loud fella he is.

"Morning Rob, I can tell that you slept as good as I did. You can wear out anyone" he turns rosy and I laugh, he'll have to control that today.

"Who was calling?"

"A good friend of mine" he sits straight.

"A woman?" I sense some jealousy in his tone, he can't seriously be jealous.

"No Rob, its a man" he looks uneasy

"He IS just a friend, nothing else. We've been friends since we were like 6, but he's a real wiz on the drums and I thought you'd like to meet him" he relaxes, but he looks confused.

"Well I wasn't going to tell you when I asked him the first time, since I knew that you would act like a jealous teen-"

"I'm not jealous! Id just like to know who the BOTH of us are meeting together!" Whatever.

"You're jealous of a guy you haven't even met yet. You'll like him, a real man of rhythm. Plus, I like when you're jealous. You being all protective is cute" I hug him and he sighs like a kid. He's forgetting that I know everything about body language. Eventually he laughs and kisses my head... I always win.

"We're meeting my friend at 11 at the pub. Its... 8 right now so we can eat and the few hours our ours"

"What can we do then?" I have about 6 different things in my head to answer that.

"Well I am hungry, and for once its for food. As much as I'd like to fool around, we'd be here all day. Plus, you didn't eat last night so you need to this morning"

"Ok. I'm hungry as well, for two things" I can't believe him!

"Are you trying to get me in the mood?"

"No Sir, I'm just hungry for bacon and eggs. Two things I'm wanting right now" he winks and smiles playfully. I'm a fan of his playful side.

We both sit at the table, eating and trying to sit still... well he is anyway. He leans on me and eats, he's sweet.

"You haven't told me his name. That friend on the phone"
