Chapter 33

                  Jordan's Pov
Riley looks up at me and I say. "How come you never told me." She shrugs and say. "Cause I don't like to talk about it." I look at her and say. "I understand but you going to change right." She glares at me and say. "Nigga no I told y'all I don't want to be bothered with people today." I look at her. "Baby we having a baby shower today, so you gone have to deal with people." She rolls her eyes and gets up and throws her trash away and She walks outside in the backyard. I walk outside and look at the decorations and look at her. "See you don't even got to go nowhere but just go and change." She rolls her eyes and walks in the house. I look at Samantha and shake my head. "Man I don't know what ima do if our baby be just like Riley." Samantha looks at me. "Shit cause it's nothing you can do but threaten her boyfriend." I look at her. "She can't have boyfriends." Samantha looks at me and shakes her head. "See she gone go to her momma for relationship advice and not you." I look at her. "She can't have boyfriends."I walk in the house and I yell Riley's name. I walk upstairs and I walk in our room and I see Riley laying down. "Get yo ass up we about to have people over."  She looks at me and rolls her eyes. "Aight nigga damn." I look at her and say. "I'm not playing and change into something cute." I walk out the room and walk downstairs. I see my mom and cousins and my little nieces and I tell them to go to the backyard. My mom looks at me. "Go help Jaxon get the food and where my babies at." I look at her. "Upstairs being lazy." I walk outside and help Jaxon get the food. We put all the food outside on the table and I walk back in the house and I yell my mom's name. I walk upstairs and I stand by the door and listen to my mom and Riley's conversation.
Riley's Pov
Jordan walks upstairs and walks in our room and he looks at me laying down. "Get yo ass up we about to have people over."  I look at him and roll my eyes. "Aight nigga damn." He looks at me and say. "I'm not playing and change into something cute." He walks out the room and I get up and mumble. "Get on my damn nerves." I hear the door opening and I turn around and see Jordan's mom. I softly smile at her and she walks in the room. "Hey baby,what's wrong with you?" I look at her and say. "Your son, he about to get slapped." She shakes her head and giggles. I walk in the closet and I find one of my sun dresses and I put it on with a pair of my sandals and I walk out the closet and she looks at me and say. "Come on your guest arriving and I cooked your favorite foods." I smile and say. "I'm only going downstairs for the food." I walk out the room and I go downstairs and I see Britney walking in the house with Carter. I look at Samantha and Jordan walks over to me. I shake my head and I walk outside and I see one of Jordan's nieces. She walks over to me and say. "Tete wiley can I have a piece of cake?" I look at her and softly smile. "Not yet." I sit down at the table and I watch the little kids play. Jordan's sister walks outside and sits next to me. "What she ask you?" I look at her. "She asked could She a piece of cake." Britney walks outside holding a little girl and she walks over to me. "Hey girl." I look at her and say. "Hey." Jordan walks outside and he walks over to me. "That nigga got to go Riley, I don't know why the fuck you invite him." I look at him. "Ok damn and I didn't invite him so don't come to me with all that." Carter walks outside and he walks over to me and say. "Can,I talk to you Riley." I look at him and I open my mouth to say something but before I could Jordan turns around and looks at him. "Nah nigga you can't talk to my girl, I don't even know why you here." I get up and I grab Jordan's hand and I drag him off. He looks at me and say. "Riley don't." I look at him and say. "You need to chill." He looks at me and say. "Nah why He here Riley?" I shake my head and walk off. Britney walks over to me. "He can leave Riley,I'm sorry for bringing him." I look at her. "Nah you good." Carter walks over to me and hands me a bag. "I bought your baby something." Jordan walks over to me and snatches the bag from me. "We don't need shit from you." I look at him. "You know what I'm not dealing with this shit, I'm going in the house." I shake my head and I walk in the house and go in the kitchen. I sit down at the bar and his mom turns around and looks at me. "You Okay?" I look at her and shake my head. "Yo son out there trying to fight." She walks over to me. "He ain't trying to fight you is he?" I shake my head and Jordan walks in the house and he looks at me. "why you taking up for that nigga?" I look at him. "I'm not taking up for nobody." He glares at me. "Ok Riley." I get up and walk back outside and Samantha gets up and stands in the middle of grass. I look at her and she says. "Ok everybody it's game time,now our first game is Place The Baby On The Mommy." Jordan walks outside and he sits next to Jaxon on the other side of the porch. I look at him and roll my eyes. Samantha looks at me and then at Jordan. " this is how you play, I blowed up a poster-sized picture of Riley standing with her pregnant belly and everyone will get blindfolded and I'll give y'all a cutout picture of a baby. After a couple of spins, everyone must walk to the wall and pin the baby on the mommy. Whoever gets it closest to the tummy, wins, so who going first?" Samantha goes and gets the picture and she sits in it the middle of the porch and she walks around and hands everyone a cutout picture of a baby. Jordan gets up and walks to Samantha. "I'll go first." Samantha blindfolds him and spins him around a few times. Carter gets up and walks over to me. I look at him and I shake my head. He looks at me and says. "I just want to apologize and see if maybe we can be friends." I look at him and I see Jaxon watching me. I shake my head and I say. "Aight I accept your apology but I don't know if we can be friends or not." He looks at me and says. "Why not?" Jordan pins the baby picture on my stomach and he takes the blindfold off and he looks at me and shakes his head. Jaxon gets up and walks over to Samantha and he gets blindfolded. I get up and I walk in the house and fix me something to drink. Jordan walks in the house behind me and he walks in the kitchen and looks at me. "So you just gone talk to him." I turn around and looks at him. "He came to me and started talking to me, damn you act like you don't trust me or something." He looks at me. "Don't Riley cause you know I trust you." I glare at him and walk back outside and I see everyone's finished playing the game and Samantha looks at me. "Jordan's the only one who won."
Carter's Pov
It's been a year and some months since I've seen or heard from Riley I moved on and she has too. I get woken up out my sleep by my my girl. I look at her. "Why you wake me up?" Britney looks at me and says. "Get dressed we got to go to Riley's baby shower today." I get up and look at her. "How you know Riley anyways?" She looks at me. "She use to work with me." I get up and walk in the bathroom and I turn on the shower and I get in the shower. I take a shower and I get out 30 minutes later. I turn the shower off and I dry off and put on my white v neck and my true religious jeans and brush my teeth and I walk out the bathroom and I put on my white and black Jordan's. I look at Britney and say. "You got her baby something already?" She looks at me and say. "Yeah I did." I grab my phone and keys and I look at Britney. "Where my baby bag at?" Britney walks out Emma's room with her bag and she hands Emma to me. I hold Emma and I walk downstairs and go outside and I put her in her seat and I get in the car and wait on Britney. She gets in the car and I drive to Riley's house. Britney looks at me and says. "Don't start nothing when we get there either." I glance at her before turning my attention back on the road. "I'm not but you better tell Riley's nigga that." I drive to Riley's house and we pull up in her driveway 40 minutes later and we get out. I get Emma out and walk up to the front door and knock. I wait for the door to open and we walk inside and I see Riley walking downstairs. She walks outside Britney gets Emma from me and walks outside and I follow behind her and she walks over to Riley "Hey girl." Riley looks at her and say. "Hey." Some dude walks outside and he walks over to Riley. "That nigga got to go Riley, I don't know why the fuck you invite him." Riley looks at him. "Ok damn and I didn't invite him so don't come to me with all that." I walk over to Riley and say. "Can,I talk to you Riley." She looks at me and opens her mouth to say something but before She could Jordan turns around and looks at me . "Nah nigga you can't talk to my girl, I don't even know why you here." I look at him and say. "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to Riley." Riley gets up and grabs Jordan's hand and drags him off. Britney looks at me. "What I tell you before we came here." I look at her and say. "Man gone somewhere with that." Britney walks over to Riley and say. "Riley,I'm sorry for bringing him." She looks at Britney. "Nah you good." I walk over to Riley and hand her a bag. "I bought your baby something." Jordan walks over to Riley and snatches the bag from her. "We don't need shit from you." Riley looks at him. "You know what I'm not dealing with this shit, I'm going in the house." She shakes her head and walks in the house. I walk over to the table and I sit down and Riley walks back outside. I wait for Samantha to put the blindfold on Jordan and I get up and walk over to Riley. She looks at me and shakes her head. I look at her and say. "I just want to apologize and see if maybe we can be friends." She looks at me and shakes her head and say. "Aight I accept your apology but I don't know if we can be friends or not." I look at her and say. "Why not?" Jordan pins the baby picture on the blow up poster sized Riley stomach and he takes the blindfold off and he looks at Riley and shakes his head. Jaxon gets up and walks over to Samantha and he gets blindfolded. Riley get up and walks in the house and Jordan follows behind her.
