There's this girl that Gilbert keeps seeing at parties.
She's vain, spoiled, bratty and beautiful.
Of course she'd be beautiful.
For a relative of the king, I am quite plain. I know this already, but she need not point it out.
He's in love with her, and does not limit their interactions to downstairs.
I should be the one who he hold close in his arms, hearing his heartbeat with my head upon his chest, as he whispers sweet and tender words of intimacy. Not her.
