Annalise and Sebastian were sitting in the boat around 2 in the afternoon. The weather was starting to turn for the worst, but she didn't want to go home quite yet. "Sebastian, if the water does pick up intensity, please make your way back to the dock. We wouldn't want the boat to flip just like the weather now would we?" Sebastian bowed as he turned the boat to go ahead and start for the dock. It slowly started to drizzle as the sky grew darker. It was odd as it wasn't supposed to storm that day. Annalise sighed a bit upset as she read her book. "Sebastian, you did bring my umbrella? Correct?" He nodded and handed her the umbrella, which she held over her head so she could still read without ruining her book. She was nearly done and practically in tears as she knew the pain of rejection in love. "My lady, are you alright?" Annalise looked at Sebastian and sniffed. "Yes, I am alright. It is just the book is so sad." He frowned and plucked the book from her hand reading the pages she was on, sighing. "My my what a sad way to end a book. Why do you insist on reading it multiple times if it makes you cry?" She shrugged and went to grab the book but he pulled it away making her fall into him. Her face went hot with irritation. "Sebastian. Why are you doing this?" He helped Annalise up and put her hands in his. "If someone forces you to dance with you what do you do?" She frowned and let him lead. "You let them lead until the dance is over then slip away as quickly as possible." Sebastian nodded. "If someone dips their hands to low what do you do?" Annalise sighed a bit angry at this odd line of questioning. "You fight back." Sebastian sighed and let her go. "This is your first ball in more than three months. If you need my help just call for me. I can hear you even if you whisper." Annalise was very confused and she sat back down. "You are so odd, Sebastian." He sat down and looked at her. "I am only looking out for my lady's safety. Even if that means I am an odd being." Annalise smiled and continued reading her book. They finally reached the dock and she stood up. Sebastian helped her out of the boat just as the rain picked up. He tied off the boat and they made their way back to the carriage.
