Chapter 9

Third person's pov
The 6 Cullens watched as Rosalie,Emmett and Jackson one by one got their diplomas for probably the 100th time they all stopped counting after a while
The youngest of them couldnt help but think how didnt it get boring for them already to graduate all over again she didnt know the feeling since next year when she graduates alongside her boyfriend and her 2 siblings it will be her 1st time since she was born in 1987 around the same time as Bella (the human girl being older by some time) and 37 years after the last members of her family joined
Edward heard his younger sisters toughts he chuckled to himself before leaning down a bit to whisper into her ear
Edward: "after the first few years you get used to it and dont worry graduation isn't as scary as you think plus you'll get to rub into Hayden's face just because"
She let out a silent laugh
Clary: "well that's true"
Hayden is her best friend who is a year younger that lived in La Push and is out of town now he was probably gonna turn soon since Sam's been eyeing him before he left
She was the only one of the Cullens that was allowed to cross the treaty line since she was half human and not only was she best friends with Hayden but she was also good friends with the Clearwater kids so they couldnt deny her acess
As the ceremony finished they headed home but only to find a boy standing on their front porch with his back turned to them
Carlisle: "hello may we help you?"
The boy turned around and the brown haired girl's face lit up
Clary: "HAYDEN!!"
She departed from her boyfriend's side and ran towards her best friend to hug the life out of him which he gladley returned
Hayden: "nice to see you too Ri"
Her family all watched with smiles on their faces as the two best friends reunited
He knew that they were vampires and he knew that he would probably soon become a werewolf it's no secret in his family but he refused to see them as enemies and Sam knew that and he knew that once the boy phases he couldnt deny the boy access to his best friend the same went for the Leah and Seth, Harry and Sue Clearwater's kids only they didnt know about the Cullens and werewolves
They all said hello to the young boy as they passed him Carlisle invinted him in while Esme offered to make some food for him and her daughter and she wouldnt take no for an answer since she could hear both of their stomachs quitley rumbling
As they were eating in the kitchen his best friend bombared him with questions
Clary: "how's your mom and dad? And Levy god do i love that little guy he's always happy"
Hayden: "my parents are doing good and Levy he's......"
There was a pause indacting that something was up
Clary: "Hay what's wrong? What happend to Levy?"
He looked up at her with tears in his eyes
Hayden: "his cancer is back Clary....it's not looking good this time"
Clary: "w-what but how they said he was fine now"
Hayden: "yeah they did....but it somehow returned they dont know when it'll take him it could be in a few days or in 10 years....they're trying their best to get some of it"
Clary: "so that's it then? He wont even shift then"
Hayden: "probably not....we can be happy if he lives to see 15 but shifting is thrown out of the window"
Clary: "oh Hayden....."
She quickly got up to get around the counter to hug him
Levy was 12 he was a cheerful kid and whenever Clary would come over or when Hayden would bring him to the Cullen's home he would have many questions and no one minded answering them actually they loved it and he would always bring happiness to those around him wherever he went and for this to happen to someone like him wasnt fair at all
And as the two best friends cried in eachother's arms the whole family's hearts broke by hearing them and hearing about Levy
After they calmed down they finished eating  and went up to Clary's room
Hayden: "your room hasn't changed since the day i meet you"
Clary: "i like it just the way it is"
Hayden: "yeah yeah i know...so have you been over to the Clearwater's latley?"
Clary: "i was there just a week ago or so i didnt really have time to do it before before that we were calling or texting"
Hayden: "why not?"
Clary: "well Edward found his mate and there was a nomad after her so i was kinda busy saving her with the rest of my family oh and being in a hostipal"
Hayden: "you're gonna tell me what happend in a minute but wait Edward found his mate?"
Clary: "yup she's the new girl in town her name is Bella her dad is Charlie and i think Jake used to be best friends with her maybe even have a crush"
Hayden: "i think i heard Embry and Quil talking about her"
After telling him all about James and ending up in a hostipal they layed on her bed in a comfortable silence
Hayden: "so you and Jasper finally,huh?"
Clary: "what?"
Hayden: "please i'm not stupid i see the way he looks at you and the way you look at him also a year ago or so i asked your dad and he told me that he's your mate and vice versa"
Clary: "okay yeah he asked me to be his girlfriend a few months ago"
Hayden: "i'm happy for you and dont worry i'm not gonna give you if he hurts you speech since i know he wont"
Clary: "thanks Hayden this means a lot to me"
A few hours later the young boy said goodbye to everyone promising he would visit with Levy very soon and so he went back home after getting a call from his mother
Later that night Clary layed in her lover's arms on the mattress in his room and with one of his sweatshirts on as the night was kinda chilly the couple was in a comfortable silence until the honey blonde haired vampire decided to cut it
Jasper: "can i ask you something darlin?"
She looked up at him as in telling him to countinue
Jasper: "do you maybe dislike Bella? I mean i know that you have become somewhat friends with her but sometimes when she's around from your emotions i feel that you dont really like her"
The girl sighed sitting up him doing the same
Clary: "it's not that i dislike her it's just that i......i somewhat envy her"
He was confused as she countinued
Clary: "she has blood going through her 24/7,she can grow old and have a family,have a career if she wanted to but she would rather become one of us i heard her toughts and she tought about it a few times and she wants this and dont get me wrong i love you and i love our family but this isn't a life i would have chosen for myself if i could of picked this isn't a life i want for anybody"
Jasper: "you can grow old too"
Clary: "but not like her i'll probably stop ageing at some point and that's fine with me but i just want her to see that there's more to life"
The couple didnt stay on the topic too long soon moving to diffrent ones but what Jasper blurted out all of a sudden suprised both of them
Jasper: "if i asked you to marry me would you say yes?"
There was a short pause until Clary spoke
Clary: "well if you did it right now i would throw you out of the window"
He laughed at her answer
Jasper: "i meant as in one day in the future"
Clary: "then yes i would say yes"
Jasper: "good cuz if you said no i would throw you out of the window"
Now it was her turn to laugh as she layed back down next to him
Clary: "is that so?"
Jasper: "yes ma'am"
Clary: "then it's a good thing i said yes"
As he smiled at her she closed the gap between them and after pulling away and her slowly falling asleep at that moment she knew that everything would be okay as long as her family was by her side

Hello i hope you enjoyed this chapter after this one we are offically moving on to new moon first you guys will get a look at the bigger cast and then i'll be writing a few chapters
One thing i know for sure is that i wont be having this many chapters for new moon it'll be shorter
New moon wont have Bella as much for obvious reasons but you will get to know Clary and some other characters better and more about them (like things from their past and stuff like that)
It's 4am where i live so sorry for any grammar mistakes i made
