CHAPTER SEVEN: Oh, Look At That... I've Been Petrified

Okay, so my new 'friend' is creepy. Ugh... Immaturity annoys me sometimes.
I dressed in the Hogwarts uniform and headed back to my room, fingers crossed that James was already in his class.
I told Helena the password and she let me in. I was greeted by a lone small man eating James' favourite biscuits.
"Queen Elsa of Arendelle!" Treffal yelled.
I gasped, "Treffal! Why are you here?"
Treffal put down a half-eaten biscuit and shyly got off the seat, "Treffal wants Queen Elsa of Arendelle to go back home. Treffal wants Queen Elsa of Arendelle to forget about Hogwarts and be safe."
I resisted the urge to strangle him, "Treffal, Hogwarts is my home."
"But Treffal foresees what will happen to Queen Elsa of Arendelle if Queen Elsa of Arendelle stays in Hogwarts."
He grabbed my hand, "Treffal will take Queen Elsa of Arendelle back where she belongs!"
I pulled my hand back, "no!"
I ran out the dorm and made a beeline for Potions.
"Elsa!"
I whirled around. Jack stood there, holding his books for D. A. D. A.
"Hey Jack." I smiled, giving him a hug.
"Hey Else."
I released him and he smiled at me, "well, I gotta get to class. I'll see you at the game?"
"The game?" I wondered.
He chuckled, "I forgot to tell you. Slytherin and Hufflepuff will have a Quidditch game later."
I smiled, "go get 'em, Jack."
"Only when you're cheering for me." he chuckled. He planted a light kiss on my cheek, "well, I gotta go."
"See you." I said as he walked off. I dashed to Potions.

"Slytherin Seeker, Jack Frost, is head to head in a race with Hufflepuff seeker, Moana Waialiki!" Robert Cassow ran the commentary, "and ohhh!!! Slytherin Beater, Henry Malfoy has just hit Hufflepuff Chaser, Amber Mercer."
I jumped beside Rapunzel, "GO JACK!!!"
Rapunzel chuckled, "calm down Elsa."
I smiled, "I gotta support him, don't I?"
I turned to face the pitch, "GO JACK!!! GO GET 'EM JACK!!!"
When I was pretty sure Jack would snatch the snitch, suddenly Littlemore walked out to the pitch, and put his hands up. All the Quidditch players suddenly lost control of their brooms. Their brooms immediately flew towards the ground and dropped the players.
"Students!" Littlemore amplified his voice, "please return to your dorms now until class tomorrow. The game is cancelled."
"Awww..." everyone groaned.
I looked at Rapunzel, "what?"
Rapunzel shrugged.
I sighed and slipped out of my seat to meet up with Jack out on the field.
"Hey Jack." I said, "you did well."
I kissed his cheek lightly.
"I heard you in the stands." he chuckled.
I smiled, "was I loud enough?"
He nodded, "more than enough."
I giggled.
Jack faced the opposing team and shook hands, "nice game. Nice game."
I felt a tap on my shoulder, and the I'm facing a light brown haired girl with brown eyes and pale skin.
"Hi." I said.
"Nice game." she put her hand out.
I shook my head, "oh sorry. I'm in Ravenclaw. I wasn't part of this game."
She nodded, "yeah, but your boyfriend was."
I blushed, "touché."
I shook her hand.
She had her fingernails painted a shade between yellow and orange, her right hand was enclosed around a broom and a book was under her arm.
"I'm Elsa." I told her.
She smiled, taking her book from under her arm, "I'm Aspen."
"Miss Oakwood!"
She looked behind her. The Hufflepuff Quidditch captain and Keeper, Hiccup, called her.
"Excuse me." Aspen said. She trotted off to Hiccup to see what he wanted.
"Elsa..."
I faced Jack. He looked pretty shaken.
"What? What happened?" I asked him.
He looked at me, "someone... was petrified."
I giggled, "like you are right now?"
He shook his head, "no, I meant... frozen stiff."
I stopped giggling. We studied petrifications in D. A. D. A. last year, and I knew it would take a special potion to unpetrify a person.
"How?" I wondered aloud.
He shrugged, "I don't know, but for safety, Littlemore wants everyone to stay in their dorms until further notice."
I sighed, "who was it? Who was petrified?"
"Kandis Nolan." he told me. "She's in the hospital wing, and Professor Cartel, Peri, Chullin, and Turnbeck are trying to come up with a cure, but the mandrakes aren't even planted yet!"
I sighed, "if they plant the mandrakes now, when will they be ripe?"
Jack sighed, "according to Professor Turnbeck, they'll be ready in like, six months."

I ran down the corridor to the Ravenclaw dorm.
"Whoa! Calm yourself!"
I stopped, "oh... sorry Valerie."
Valerie went into the Ravenclaw common room, and I followed. The students there were chattering about the incident.
"I wonder who it was."
"Heard it was that Nolan girl."
"Do you think it was a petrification spell?"
"I still don't get what happened."
I spotted Elsa enter the common room. She sighed, "guys?"
Everyone silenced and looked at her.
Elsa swallowed, "uhmm... yeah, hi. Uhh... so, Kandis Nolan was petrified and... Littlemore advised that we stay in the common room or dorm until tomorrow morning. No one is to go around the castle alone, and must go in groups of at least four. I'll leave my cousin in charge."
I had a mini-heart attack.
"See you... uhhh... guys in the morning." she added.
