"Mama; I don't want to go to school" Marinette groaned
"Marinette...please..don't start. It's the first day of school and you're already complaining. Besides, I'm sure you'll make new and great friends in your new school!" Sabine Chang, her mother, had replied
Marinette sighed. She hated school. She hated going to school.
"This is gonna be a disaster!" Marinette groaned to herself

She was ready

.....for the war

She walked to her the school that she had enrolled to. It was an easier trip, since it was right next to her parents' bakery. Right as she was at the entrance of her school, a girl was approaching her. The bluenette observed this girl first, since that's what she does to anybody she first meets. She was an ombré haired Latina-looking teen with glasses and a mole on her forehead. She wore jeans and a shirt that had a base color of orange and stripes (of the opacity about 68%) of the color purple & white. Marinette decided to name this girl "the girl in the glasses", even if she wasn't sure that this girl was really gonna walk up to her

"Um...sorry to bother but....do you know where the classrooms are?" The girl in the glasses asked
"Oh...err....well...you see....I'm actually new to this school too..." Marinette awkwardly replied
"Oh my gosh! That's great!" The ombré-haired sighed "I thought I was the only newbie!"
Marinette smiled: "Same, hah! I think the classrooms are just right above the stairs. Would you like to check it out with me?"
"Of course!" She smiled "By the way....if you would mind me asking...but what's your name?"
"Marinette!"
"Oh, why hello Marinette! My name's Alya!"

The girls chatted and giggled. It's like they were meant to be friends!

They got to the classrooms just in the nick of time.

When they got there, Alya immediately found a seat: "Dibs!" She chuckled "Marinette, c'mere!"
Marinette did as what her new companion had said to her. Though, Marinette had noticed somebody in front of her. He seemed different, like...in a different-different way...if that even made sense to her
She noticed that this boy had been looking at her at the corner of his eye. She then heard something hiss behind her

"Hey new kids!" A snobby voice taunted
Both Marinette and Alya looked at this, cake-faced girl. She looked so fake, so plastic
"I just wanted to introduce myself! My name is Chloe Bourgeois and I am the queen bee of this classroom!" She flicked her possibly fake golden hair
Marinette looked around to examine how people looked at her. Some were completely in love with her and others......didn't seem amused whatsoever
"Uhm. Okay...?" Alya raised her eyebrow
"Oh and by the way! This is the soulmate of my dream! Adrien Agreste!" She giggled as she wrapped her arms around her lover
Marinette examined this boy this time.
||"Wasn't this the boy that was looking at me at the corner of his eye?"|| She asked herself
He had soft golden hair. They were wavy, and stood out so much. The weren't messy, but they were pointy. His jacket looked like pure milk, it was layered on top of his black shirt with stripes of wondrous colors. His shoulders were so broad and his eyes were like....emeralds....green emeralds, newly polished and ready to be sold. But they were already sold...to Chloe Bou-something.

"Hey freckles!" The same blonde-brat snapped "Stop staring at my love!"
"W-what! No i-I wasn't....you introduced him to us!" The bluenette replied in the most awkward way possible
"Not even my 'blonde nature' can fall for that!" The blondie snickered "You stay away from him freckle-face!"
"Ugh. Gross!" Alya scoffed "Come on, Marinette. Don't mind her. Even if I'm a new girl like you, I can tell this blondie is just a wannabe empress."
"Hmph!" The queen flicked her hair, storming back to her seat.

"Hello students!" A redhead teacher greeted

// And thus, school started //

• TIME SKIP •

The bell rang and Marinette went to her locker to organize it, though, something...no...someone; had suddenly closed her locker
"Hey there bluebell." A face she had just met grinned
"W-wh...." Marinette stuttered in confusion. Who was this guy? Wasn't this the Adrien Agreste guy that was Chloe Bou-something's lover?!
"Aw, what a little sugar bell you are. You're just like every girl! You've already fallen in love with me!" He winked
Marinette suddenly felt a little....annoyed.
||"Did he just call me basic.....?|| she thought to herself
And out of pure instinct she had snapped "Excuse me?! Who are you and why are you calling me pet names?! Don't you have a girlfriend?"
"Woah woah!" He snickered "I'm Adrien Agreste. Y'know? The Model™ of Gabriel Agreste. Oh and if I say Gabriel Agreste's son?"
Marinette stuttered for a bit. Gabriel Agreste. Her #1 favorite fashion designer is related to this h̶a̶n̶d̶s̶o̶m̶e̶ creep?
"S-so?!" She almost tumbled over her words "What are you gonna do to me huh? Model me to death?!"
Adrien had a surprised look on this face and started stuttering "I—uh....h—n-um—;;"
Marinette started to gain her confidence back "Aw, is The Model™ in love with The Baker's Daughter™ now?"
He continued to stutter and Marinette enjoyed every second of it
"Anyways" she snickered "I've got to get going The Model™ probably needs to get to some modeling sessions because he is SON of Gabriel Agreste!"
Marinette left Adrien in the locker room with him, speechless. This was a first for Adrien

.....And it wasn't a very good first.
