The Key Holder

I wouldn't know if it wasn't for that day.
When quiet and lifeless beneath I lay.
How important I was to them,
That I never realized when inside the frame.
Even with the tiny guilt I turn,
Just too see the one I yearn.
About to run but suddenly stopped.
Held by strings I suddenly dropped.
Who was it that could stop me?
Only to see the one who held the key.
One who was with me till the last.
Pulling the strings back to life, fast.
I open my eyes to see the one.
It's yet not time to leave until it's done.
Soul full of life and noise once again.
Smiling with happiness under the rain.
Forgot the past and the pain.
Lifeless and quiet never again.
