I'm like Oz, I can't gif......XD

SOOOOOOOOOO, hey everyone! I'm Sydney, though I mostly go by Syd. My characters in RCP happen to be Evangeline Carter and Cameron Rodriguez. I'm so glad you decided to stop by and get to know me!

I have a short story before I start actually telling you some facts about myself, so here we go.

I stumbled onto Red Cedar Prep not too long after Payton had posted it. Yes, it had been at least a week, but it wasn't TOO long. I had just been looking for interesting roleplays, as I was quite new to the concept of roleplaying. So, I submitted a form for my character Adeline Bennett. She was pretty much the cliché new girl. So, weeks went on with the roleplay still going strong. While I loved Adeline (All of your OCs are like your children, so it's natural), I began to notice many of her character flaws. I tried to improve them, but only ended up making her more of a background character than before. So, I took what I learned from that experience and made another character. Her name was Eve. Eve just happened to be the character that I believe raised me up on the social charts a little bit. It was with this character that I finally clicked with the others. Finally found my place.

Basically, what I'm getting at is that, you newbies to this will feel left out or feel like a background character at some point. I know it, because I did, and I'm sure others have. That doesn't mean you just stop roleplaying, though. In fact, don't give up at all. It takes time and perseverance to find your spot in a popular roleplay. When you do, however, it will feel much better than if you just quit. I promise.

Okay, so now that I'm done with my little speech, I'd like to officially welcome you my little corner of this big world. This is actually the first time I've been an admin, so I'm quite excited. 😁

So, some facts about me are,

•I'm a big Marvel fan, so if you even mention the name, I'll be there. Especially if you say the name Loki.

•I'm also a Sherlock and Supernatural fan, so we could have detailed conversations about them both.

•I'm more of a reader than a writer to be honest, though I'm writing a book on her le right now.

•I'm in the band at my school. 'Tis quite a lovely thing. I play the trumpet.

•I love helping people, so don't be afraid to come to me if you need to rant. I try my best to give my support.

•My favorite character in this (other than my own, because I love my OCs uncoditionally), is probably Kyler Fix. He's such a funny and relatable character. What's not to like?
