part 4: what am i feeling?

The next morning

You opened your eyes it took a while to realize that you felt pressure on your body you looked at Clementine she was closer to you then you began to think

Y/n: "why is Clementine so close?"

You tried to move but when you did you noticed Clementine would also move you with your free hand you removed the blanket a little bit to see that Clementine was holding you she was giving you a bear hug but for some reason the hug felt nostalgic like the hugs your mom gave you

Y/n: "why is Clementine holding me?!"

You moved once more but Clementine held you tighter in her arms like a little kid holding a teddy bear

Y/n: "she really looks cute when she- wait don't think that (y/n) she is just a um traveler like you don't forget that!!!"

Clementine moved her body and she was groaning a little bit

Y/n: "please don't kill me when you wake up I want to live pass my 20's"

You closed your eyes and waited for her to scream or hit you but nothing happened you opened your eyes to see that she went back to sleep

Y/n: "hm she didn't wake up thank God but I need to get out of this"

You then began to squirm around a little not enough to wake up Clementine but to try and break free it didn't work Clementine held you with a iron grip she actually laid her head on your chest

Y/n: "Jesus she is strong"

After a while of trying to break free you just gave in you didn't move you didn't do anything to try and wake Clementine up

Y/n: "this actually feels...nice it feels nice to be hugged again after all these years but I got a feeling when she wakes up she will Punch me or something"

As you thought about that Clementine began to move you can tell she was waking up you closed your eyes to pretend that you were asleep you were expecting a slap a punch or something but instead you felt a tighter embrace you little by little you opened your eyes you opened them enough to see you saw Clementine still holding on to you but she was moving she was awake?! You then began to move and gave out some fake groans as if you were waking up Clementine then immediately too her arms off you and scooted away you opened your eyes completely to see Clementine getting up

Y/n: "good morning Clementine"

Clementine: "h-hey (y/n)"

Clementine seemed a bit nervous

Clementine: "ok we need to go I don't think we have time to eat if we start walking we can make it by sunset"

You got up and grabbed your backpack shotgun and machete you folded up the blanket and stuffed It to your backpack

Y/n: "ready"

Clementine: "hold on let me check my gun"

You sat down and took out one of your pistols you took out a piece of cloth and began to clean it

Clementine: "you really like taking care of those pistols don't you"

Y/n: "my dad gave me these before he died and the holster belt too he said to me "treat these guns like gold cuz in this world there your protection" boy was he right"

Clementine: "I thought y'all didn't have gun when he died"

Y/n: "no bullets I had these but no bullets at the time oh by the way"
