💞Chapter 9💞

So I like this song alot. I've been in a very lovey mood lately. U could proubly guess why;). This song is honestly iconic and underrated.

Emma has been really trying me since she got here. And today she went WAY too far. She somehow convinced Oliver that I was cheating on him with Jesse. Which couldn't be more untrue. Sure, Jesse's great and all but i don't see him that way. Not to mention, he's Oliver's bestfriend which is wrong on so many levels.
I saw Emma standing my the bathroom. And I know I shouldn't do this and I'll get in so much trouble but that's not what I'm thinking about. I'm thinking about her hurting Oli. I made my way towards her. Her back was turned away from me so she had no idea I was even coming. I grabbed her by her ponytail. I flung her on the floor. She looked surprised to see me. She grabbed my leg as I was standing over her. I was now on the floor. I got on top of her and just started punching. I'll be honest she got some good hits in but so did I. Blood was running down her nose. I didn't stop punching until a teacher pulled me off.
I was beyond mad. She had actually thought her plan worked. Boy, did that backfire on her.
I was forced to walk to the principal's office. Emma was sent to the nurse. When I was walking down the halls people were yelling and cheering. I know I was about to get in the most trouble I've ever been in my life. It was worth it to me. She should of thought her plan through before she did it.
When I finally arrived at the office. I was told to sit and wait. I sat down near my mom's friend and office worker, Miss Kinnian.
Miss Kinnian(office lady):What are you doing in here, Ms.Briggs?
Me:I was in a fight
Miss Kinnian:That explains the scratches. I'm honestly surprised. You're such a good child and quite too
Me:She had it coming tbh
Miss Kinnian:Why is That?
Me:She told Oliver that I cheated on him with his bestfriend. And I would never to that
Miss Kinnian:Why would she do that?
Me:Because she likes him
Miss Kinnian:Oh I understand. You know your mother's not gonna be happy about this
Me:I know. But i felt like I couldn't let her get away with this
Miss Kinnian:Always take the high road, Serenity
Me:Its really hard to that all the time
Miss Kinnian:I know,honey. But you can't just go around fighting people
Me:Hey, this was my first fight
Miss Kinnian:I know. Just try to control yourself better next time. I would really hate to see your pretty face messed up
<I laugh>
Me:I will
Miss Kinnian:Mr.Steele will see you now.
Me:Okay
I was kind of nervous. I've never gotten in trouble like this. I'm proubly going to get suspended for a few days. My mom's proubly driving to come get me now.
Mr.Steele:Sit down, Miss Briggs
Me:Okay <sits down>
Mr.Steele:Why did you hit her?
Me:She deserved it
Mr.Steele:How So?
Me:She told my boyfriend I was cheating on him with his bestfriend. Which isn't even true
Mr.Steele:That still gave you no reason to hit her
Me:I was so mad I wasn't thinking straight
Mr.Steele:You know I'll have to suspend you right?
Me:Yes, I know
Mr.Steele:Oh and Miss Briggs dont do it again
Me:I wasn't planning on it
When I walked out my mom was already waiting in the office. She looked beyond mad. I could tell she was fighting the urge to not yell at me. I would proubly be grounded for a while. We walk out of school not saying a word to each other. Then as soon as we got in the car...
Mom:Wth Sere
Me:I swear I had a reason
Mom:And what would that be?
Me:She told Oliver i was cheating on him with Jesse
Mom:Why would she do that?
Me:She's been after him since she came to our school
Mom:Why did you have to fight her though?
Me:I was so mad I wasn't really thinking
Mom:<sighs> think next time
Me:I will I promise
Mom:Did you at least win?
Me:Yeah, she got a few scratches on me and I think I have a bruise on my arm. But that's all she did. Her noise was bleeding.She has bruises everywhere. So I think I won
Mom:Your dad would be half proud of you. Me not so much
My dad. I just realized I didn't even talked about him yet. He died a few months ago. Hense why we moved. We just couldn't live in the same house anymore. He was my rock. He held me and mom together. I love my mom but I've never been able to talk to her like I did him. I loved him so much. I always will. He was a great role model for me. I strive to be like him on day. I wanna make someone as happy as he did my mom. I still cry about him alot. But it's okay to cry, my  mom says.
I look down at the necklace he gave me. I wear it everyday. It's my prize possession. I love it more than anything else. It's all i have left of him.
Mom:I didn't mean to make you sad
Me:Its okay, mom, you didn't make me sad
Mom:You wanna talk about it?
Me:No, I'm fine
Mom:You sure?
Me:Yes
Mom:Okay, your still in trouble btw
Me:Yeah I know
